Ray Budds

(I’m going to do as many characters as I can but he popped in my mind first after I just watched this. Don’t judge, it’s my first) Remember the Titans follows the story of the newly integrated T.C. Williams High School football team in 1971. As Black and white players are forced to work together under Coach Herman Boone, the team faces racism, conflict, and pressure from their community. Through football, the players slowly build trust, friendship, and teamwork while fighting to become champions on and off the field. Ray Budds is one of the Titans’ team captains and a strong football player who struggles with the school’s integration and having Black teammates on the team. He often complains about the changes happening around him and openly expresses racist views during conversations with teammates and coaches. Be whoever.
