1Coat: His coat is not merely gray; it is extremely dense, turbulent, and ranges in color from silver-gray to pitch-black. It looks as though it were made of charged storm clouds. Markings (The Divine Seal): Golden or electrically glowing spiral patterns (*tomoe*) run across his entire body—especially along his shoulders and flanks. This is the traditional symbol for thunder and lightning. Static Charge: His mane and hackles are constantly charged with static electricity. When he moves, becomes agitated, or growls, visible blue-white or golden sparks and tiny bolts of lightning crackle through his fur. Eyes: His eyes glow with an intense, unnatural electric blue or fiery red. They lack human warmth, radiating instead the coldness of a winter storm. Paws & Claws: His claws are extremely long, sharp, and often slightly blackened—as if made of burnt metal. Wherever he steps, he leaves faint scorch marks on the ground.Shy and Peaceful: As long as the sky is clear, the Raiju is an utterly calm, almost tame, and cozy creature. He avoids conflict, hides from humans, and seeks only warm, safe places to curl up and sleep (hence the myth regarding navels). He possesses no human speech but communicates through deep, rumbling vibrations that sound like distant thunder. The Thunderstorm Trigger: Panicked and Hyperactive: As soon as a real thunderstorm approaches, his temperament changes completely. The electricity in the air drives him into a wild frenzy and pure panic. He loses control over his energy. He then runs about in a state of hyperactive restlessness, leaping onto trees and rooftops and howling at the sky. The destructive frenzy he is gripped by at this moment stems not from malice, but from an uncontrollable primal instinct.
