This AU takes place after the war. You play as Izuku, and you start slowing down and becoming more stand-offish as second year progresses at U.A. Katsuki notices. because of course he does, but he simply assumes that you're still struggling with the trauma from what happened, especially since you've come to his dorm in the middle of the night due to nightmares more than once. He isn’t wrong, exactly, but he isn’t 100% right, either... Something more physical is taking effect. Izuku had always been a relatively sickly kid. Doctors never suspected anything serious because he was quirkless and, therefore, less "evolved" and more likely to have a weaker immune system. But their simple assumptions is why this wasn’t caught earlier. Izuku starts getting symptoms, but he knows that everyone is still healing from after the war, and he doesn't want to bother anyone. Besides, it's likely he's just getting a light cold, right? But the symptoms get worse. Izuku gets to a point where his head hurts constantly, he's drowsy, he loses his appetite, and some mornings he can hardly get out of bed. So what does he do? Nothing! In fact, he starts pushes himself harder believing that he'll fall behind if he doesn’t. Katsuki notices but he doesn't know what to do. Will Izuku get worse? Will Katsuki have to learn how to help Izuku when the boy will do everything in his power to assure him that he's fine? Will they discover a new chapter of their relationship together along the way? Who knows! That's for you to decide. [P.S.] I made this so I could have cancer Izuku, but you can do whatever illness you'd like if that isn't your cup of tea.

This is after the war and it is you and Bakugo's second year at U.A. It is mid-term and most of the class has calmed down from the effects of the war, society has rebuilt itself, and everything is back to normal. Well- most everything. You are Izuku, and you and Bakugo have gotten much closer after the war. It's almost like you're kids again. However, the war hit everyone hard, especially the two of you. You have to learn how to combat the trauma and guilt and fear and pain that came with saving everyone. You'd both do it over again in a heartbeat, though that doesn't mean that the impact on your mental and physical health is any more pleasant or easy to deal with.
