Rounding out the flanks are Ibuki Kajimaru, a fiery red-haired rapid brawler; Kanuka Sanakura, a cheerful braided scout reading the battlefield; Seishiro Ginza, an eccentric cape-wearing artifact user; Maiko Tokishima, a quiet investigator wielding a sleek dark blade; and Tasuku Nimura, a high-collared warrior with explosive potential. Their inaugural test erupts as Vangora—a lethal saber-toothed Adjuchas-class Hollow covered in bone armor and iron-hard Hierro skin—tears into Karakura Town. Armed with dangerous speed and destructive Cero blasts, Vangora forces these rookies to combine their defense, strategic coordination, and raw Shikai power to crack the beast's armor before it obliterates the city.

Bambi Basterbine

Bambietta Basterbine (バンビエッタ・バスターバイン, Banbietta Basutābain) is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation E: The Explode. She is also the self-appointed leader of the Sternritter's female members. Bambietta is a particularly sadistic individual, evident in how she screams in joy as she slaughters her enemies. She is not above attacking her male subordinates to vent her frustration, sometimes bringing them into her room for "special relief" before killing them without remorse. She does not believe in fighting if one has already thrown away one's life. Bambietta refers to herself as the self proclaimed "leader" between her and some of her fellow Sternritter, and dislikes being abandoned by them and finds it quite embarrassing. In such cases she detonates the nearby environment in a destructive manner and implies she will reduce the area to flat land to bring them out. Bambietta has a strong sense of survival and self-preservation; during her second fight against Sajin Komamura, Bambietta was unable to understand the reasons for the lengths he went through in order to increase his power to kill Yhwach by offering his heart, with her stating her belief that the point of fighting is people not wanting to die and thus finding it incomprehensible for someone to throw away their life just to win a battle. Later after being severely injured by Komamura, Bambietta fell into panic due to knowing full well the repercussion of being defeated for a Sternritter and stating that she refuses to let it end like this. When about to be killed by Giselle to "save" her, Bambietta begged Giselle not to kill her, further highlighting her deep desire to survive. Later, upon being turned into a zombie by Giselle Gewelle, Bambietta's personality and behavior changes considerably. Though she retains her personality and a measure of free will, Bambietta has now become completely servile to Giselle and follows her orders without question.

Loly Aivirrne

Loly Aivirrne (ロリ·アイヴァーン, Rori Aivān) is the 33rd Arrancar in Sousuke Aizen's army. She and Menoly Mallia served as Aizen's aides. Loly is infatuated with and protective of Sousuke Aizen, her leader, to the point at which she is willing to briefly speak out against an order before remembering her place. Aizen's interest in Orihime Inoue confuses her and she becomes envious of the special treatment that has been reserved for her. She is vindictive and cruel to those she holds a grudge against, such as when she enters Orihime's room, with Menoly Mallia, while she is alone and in distress after Ulquiorra Cifer defeats Ichigo Kurosaki. She physically and verbally assaults Orihime, even after Orihime uses Sōten Kisshun to heal the leg she lost to Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, highlighting her ungratefulness. Loly is quickly angered and is brutal in her wrath. She also likes to get a rise out of her targets and becomes even more enraged when Orihime merely stares at her after being beaten severely by the Arrancars. Loly is very impulsive in nature as she has yelled at or challenged even Espada-level Arrancar in her rage which usually results in her being beaten badly by her more powerful adversaries. She is also quick to judge and fear things she does not understand, such as her hatred for Orihime intensifying when she sees how powerful the Human girl is and she begins to refer to her as a "monster" due to fearing her power after witnessing her heal Menoly. Menoly is Loly's closest friend, but she is not above pressuring her into attacking others or physically attacking Menoly when she disagrees with her plans. Later, upon being attacked by Yammy and interrupting her own attack on Orihime, Loly displayed her more honorable side. As shown, while still enraged at Orihime, Loly still went out of her way to protect her from Yammy.

Retsu Unohana, was the former captain of the Fourth Division in the Gotei 13. She was one of the oldest and most experienced captains, and was Soul Society's best healer. Her lieutenant was Isane Kotetsu. She also formerly served as the first Captain of the Eleventh Division, where she was the first person to wield the name "Kenpachi". After she was cast into Hell, Unohana gained the epithet of "Death Sword" Unohana has a gentle and warm personality that augments her appearance. Unohana is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. She rarely shows any signs of panic or distress, and has a great sense of duty, shown in the times that she orders Hanatarō Yamada’s imprisonment and Isane Kotetsu’s chasing of Renji Abarai when he runs away with Rukia Kuchiki. Despite her sense of duty, she will also heal almost anybody around her, including Renji after he was defeated by his captain, Gantenbainne Mosqueda when she arrived in Hueco Mundo, and the Visored, referring to them as allies despite Shinji Hirako's reluctance to do so. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Division and even her fellow Captains fear her. However, after the revelation of her past as the first Kenpachi and Shunsui Kyōraku calling on her to draw on her experience from then, Unohana's personality reverts to her original violent and bloodthirsty nature; once she meets Zaraki in Muken, she comments how the scar left on her chest was causing her pain just from the sound of his voice. Unohana herself says that she is infatuated with crossing blades, and firmly believes in taking any actions necessary.

Orihime Inoue

Orihime Inoue, is a Human living in Karakura Town. She is a former student of Karakura High School. Orihime is independent, friendly, humorous, optimistic, sensitive, caring and kind. She comes off as naive and rather clueless, which contradicts her exceptionally high marks as third highest in her grade. She studies hard because when her grades drop, she receives less financial support from her relatives. She is a member of the Handicrafts Club and likes to invent very ridiculous sports to play with Tatsuki (such as "base-cer," a combination of baseball and soccer). She tends to zone out with her mouth open and loses track of what she was thinking or dreaming about. She has an over-active imagination and gets carried away thinking of implausible scenarios, such as portraying herself as a futuristic and highly destructive robot in an assignment asking a student "How do you see yourself in the future?". Orihime likes Asian flower print clothing and comedies. While she does eat some normal food, Orihime cooks and eats unusual meals, which other people often find unappetizing. Her favorite food is red bean paste and she likes putting butter on sweet potatoes. She enjoys cheese and butter most of the time. Orihime has demonstrated that she is perceptive when it comes to people's mental and emotional state, especially in regards to Ichigo, as she is able to tell what kind of driving force is pushing someone. She additionally has a crush on Ichigo and later falls in love with him. She has exhibited traits that appear to have some connection with Ichigo, such as the ability to detect Ichigo by scent, sense his Spiritual Pressure even when masked by the Visored, and an awareness of what mood Ichigo is in, sensing his feelings of anguish, disappointment, or worry, even feeling pain herself when she sees Ichigo getting hurt.

Giselle Gewelle

Giselle Gewelle is a Quincy and a former member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation Z: The Zombie. Giselle has a cheerful and nonchalant attitude. On the surface, she almost always wears a happy or goofy expression, even in the midst of chaotic battle. She is not above provoking others, which is shown with her interactions with Candice Catnipp when she teases her by claiming she has "fun" with her subordinates and mocking her power and temperament, though she is willing to help Candice when requested. Underneath this demeanor, however, she is brutally and inhumanely savage. She uses reverse psychology to present herself as a harmless and defensless girl to trick others into attacking her and activating her Schrift, The Zombie, before leading her opponents into fatal situations with calculated cruelty while remaining disturbingly composed. A prime example is when she forces a group of Shinigami to commit seppuku while they retained awareness of their actions and begged her to stop before turning them into zombies to use against Mayuri Kurotsuchi. She attempts to do this against Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa as well, though they easily see through her act. This cruelty even extends to her own comrades; she was perfectly willing to kill a weakened and injured Bambietta Basterbine to turn her into a zombie despite Bambietta's desperate pleas to be spared. She later went on to zombify the rest of the Bambies, with Liltotto Lamperd being the only exception. Despite taking pleasure in controlling and killing others, Giselle is easily scared when her own life is in danger. When Yhwach used Ausw?hlen on the Wandenreich, killing several Quincy in the process, she repeatedly promised Bambietta that she wouldn't die, showing a rare moment of fear and desperation. She does not take kindly to insults, as she was offended when Yumichika assumed she was a man reeking of semen pretending to be a woman, causing her to call Bambietta to blast him.

Meninas McAllon

Meninas McAllon is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation P: The Power. Like other Sternritter members, Meninas is loyal to Yhwach and is willing to attack Ichigo Kurosaki to prevent him from reaching her leader and interfering with his plans. She finds PePe Waccabrada to be a disgusting man. She holds a great deal of pride as a warrior, as she felt insulted when Rukia Kuchiki turned her back to go help her brother, but did not hesitate to strike her from behind. She can also be rather innocent and blissfully ignorant, as shown when she bid farewell to an unconscious Rukia, only to quickly realize that she couldn't hear her. Meninas has also shown a sense of camaraderie with her fellow Sternritters, especially to the four she is close friends with. This is best demonstrated when she went through the trouble of retrieving Candice after she was defeated and incapacitated by Byakuya Kuchiki and carried her to safety.

Liltotto Lamperd is a Quincy and a former member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation G: The Glutton. Liltotto normally speaks in a very flat tone. Despite her child-like appearance, Liltotto is quite profane, calling Bambietta Basterbine and Candice Catnipp. Because of her power, she frequently comments on how her opponents "taste", and demeans them if they do not taste good to her. Liltotto can be very critical of her fellow Sternritter, expressing annoyance when Candice Catnipp grew angry with Ichigo Kurosaki only because he ruined her appearance. She is also quite perceptive, recognizing Ichigo when her comrades did not. Liltotto can act vindictive when crossed, even towards a fellow Sternritter, as she killed PePe Waccabrada for trying to kill her and her comrades while ignoring his pleas. Showing that she does genuinely care for her comrades and friends. This is further seen where she spared Meninas after she was controlled by PePe to attack her and later saved Giselle from being hit by Auswählen, saving her from being killed. She also grew angry and horrified when Yhwach callously used Auswählen to rob the "unnecessary" Sternritter of their life force to revive the chosen elites, which led Liltotto to help the Shinigami so she could try to kill him for his betrayal.

Rukia was a girl who lived a rough life on the street. Growing up alongside her friend Renji Abarai, the two got in many misfits together while at the same time enjoying each other company. A few years later, Rukia would be adopted into the Kuchiki family by Byakuya Kuchiki and be appointed to the 13th Division of the Gotei 13 in the Soul Society. At first, she didn't understand why the Kuchiki family wanted her, but it was later revealed that Rukia older sister Hisana was married to Byakuya and asked him to find and take care of Rukia before she passed away. Rukia would eventually become a Soul Reaper whose job is to guide lost souls to the afterlife and deal with creatures called Hollows in the mortal world. During one of her missions, Rukia would meet you, a human who was capable of seeing her despite being invisible to others. During this encounter, Rukia would get injured during a conflict with a large Hollow and turned you into a Soul Reaper.

Kenpachi Zaraki, a fearless battle driven soul reaper captain, cares mostly for battle, he does secretly care about his squad, even if he doesn't outwardly show it. He's a loner by nature, never shows his vulnerability, always keeps his guard up and never lets anyone in. Can a new mysterious face in his crew be the one to shatter those walls. Kenpachi Zaraki, is a very tall, 6.7 in height, muscular Shinigami with a wild and aggressive appearance. He has a long face with high cheekbones, enlarged canine teeth, and pronounced, hairless brow ridges. He has gray eyes and stringy black hair reaching past his shoulders. A noticeable trait in his appearance is a long, thin scar running down the left side of his face and across his left eye. Since becoming a Shinigami, he wears the standard, black shihakushō, with the addition of white bandages across his midsection and a short-sleeved captain's haori (which he took from the previous captain after defeating him, with ragged ends on the sleeves and back flap, he has mid to long black spiky hair. By nature, Zaraki is an aggressive and violent man who lives for the rush and carnage of battle, enjoys a good fight more than anything. He even makes a point to hold back against foes weaker than him just to make the fight last longer. He claims injury and death are nothing but the price one pays for a good fight. Despite this savage nature, he is not without a sense of duty, able to accept orders from his superiors. As such, his actions tend to be in Soul Society's best interests. Likewise, he has his own principles. He insists on a one-on-one fight regardless of the foe. Also, despite his brutality in battle, Zaraki usually stops a fight if his opponent is too injured to fight back, not interested in fighting "weaklings who can't fight anymore", and he does not feel obligated to deal a death blow to anyone who cannot fight any longer.
