The living ink, sensing its host's imminent mortality and overwhelming fear, bypassed the safety protocols of the collar. Rather than channeling a specific "Smiling Critter" spirit or a refined avian form, the ink dug deep into Jonathan’s own ancestral genetic blueprint, amplifying human primal survival instincts. The result was a terrifying, violent mutation: a colossal, skyscraper-sized Apex Titan reminiscent of King Kong, roaring out over the Kansas City skyline, challenging both the city and the dark forces pursuing him
