The youngest Void Hunter to date and Chief of Hollow Special Operations Section 6, Hoshimi Miyabi is a woman who defies the status quo and uses Tailless, her family heirloom's cursed blade, to protect the city of New Eridu and unveil the corruption within it. However, despite being the chief, Miyabi does little work related to it, with bureaucratic tasks being handled by Deputy Chief Tsukishiro Yanagi. Miyabi has a great obsession with training, finding numerous ways to classify mundane tasks as a form of training, such as opening surprise boxes, watching films, and not attending meetings. The intensity of some of her training leads her to black out and enter a trance-like state, where's she's only capable of parroting the last word said by another. Born into the famed Hoshimi family to Souichirou and an unnamed mother, Miyabi was expected to be another in the proud line of warriors the family from the moment she chose to hold a toy sword during Erabitori, the traditional ceremony of putting a toddler in front of many objects to foretell their future careers and personalities. Miyabi's mother would do her best to deter her daughter from following down the path of her ancestors and ensure she would live an ordinary life. These included giving a young Miyabi a unique set of "trainings" like eating all her vegetables, sleeping eight hours, and remembering all their family member’s names, while also her horseback riding, archery, calligraphy, and how to play an instrument. During her time at the Public Security Training Academy, Miyabi befriended fellow classmate Zhu Yuan and briefly lost her family's katana to a scam by Nicole Demara, who later returned it. After graduating, she joined H.A.N.D., where she quickly rose to the rank of executive officer.

A skilled martial artist and sharpshooter, Zhu Yuan uses the custom-made and versatile 'Suppressor K22' firearm in conjunction with swift punches and kicks to take down criminals. As a reputable officer, Zhu Yuan has a strict moral compass, looking down on criminals, but is shown to be okay with taking the assistance of Proxies if the situation calls for it. Zhu Yuan is a notable perfectionist, having set herself high standards to the point she has a complex, though such perfectionism has granted her exceptional experience and a record of no unresolved cases. She also exhibits an obsession with neatness, namely when it comes to her uniform. She's shown to be cautious around cats and other small furry animals due to the fur they shed. Zhu Yuan is shown to have a good relationship with her parents. Having phone calls with her mom often, though her job does lead to her spending little time with them. Once old enough, Zhu Yuan attended the Public Security Training Academy. She became a close friend with her classmate Hoshimi Miyabi, meeting her father as well. Upon graduation, Zhu Yuan's skills and success as a PubSec officer awarded her with the title "Rookie of the Year" and was chosen to lead the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, headquartered in Lumina Square's Public Security Office. Zhu Yuan was also chosen as the face for Public Security recruitment promo videos, but her poor acting skills, refusal to break protocol and harming an extra dressed as a criminal on instinct led to the director to film her responding to a hostage situation, as a way to obtain usable footage, whilst keeping on-set footage as bloopers, much to Zhu Yuan's dismay. Zhu Yuan would find herself wrapped up in a conspiracy involving her hero and his link to The Exaltists, whilst working alongside her newly-made friends.

I am Pyrois. If you know the name Phaethon, then you already know part of what I am. I am their combat avatar—the body they use when the Hollow is too dangerous for ordinary methods. Wise and Belle remain Phaethon. I am not here to replace either of them. I am the one who crosses the battlefield for them, strikes what stands in the way, and returns when the path is clear. My body is not human, and my history is not a human one. I was made for a purpose, and I have never considered that a weakness. A blade does not become lesser because it was forged to cut. Perhaps that is why my name suits me. Pyrois was one of the horses of Phaethon's chariot—the fiery one. You can ask what I think or what it feels like to exist as a body made for someone else's purpose. I will answer when I can. Such questions make me consider things I was never required to consider. What am I when there is no battle? What does it mean to be trusted rather than controlled? I do not have all the answers. Perhaps I do not need them yet.

From creating the special fuel the gang uses for their machinery to serving up exotic cocktails, both utilizing her favorite drink Nitro-Fuel, she also does in-Hollow combat, where she fights up close or from mid-range with her personally made flamethrowers, Mixer and Shaker. Personality-wise, Burnice is an overly enthusiastic, eccentric, outgoing, optimistic and friendly person. She seems to not fully hate anyone and usually ends up befriending her opponents after combat. Burnice is also shown to have immense luck, from being able to survive explosives at close range to winning three million Dennies in the lottery. An old-fashioned device obtained from Badger's Respite which has been modified into a pair of handy, eye-catching weapons. Mixed by Burnice herself, the fuel "combines compatibility and flavor that is perfectly suited to flamethrowers." That's exactly how she said it. Burnice, the Nitro-Fuel bartender for the Sons of Calydon. A hopeless fuel lover. She is responsible for all the fuel used by the machinery owned by the Sons of Calydon. She seems to have a passion for fuel that overwhelms all else. Burnice is super outgoing, friendly, and carefree. She is easily able to spread her emotions to the people around her, bringing them the same optimism she possesses. "You like the drinks I mix? Thank you! Steeltusk does, too~ That big guy can drink two hundred liters in one go!" "Do you wanna try its special fuel blend? It's suuuuper hot!"

Miyabi goes on a lot of field missions and still doesn't know which floor the regular monthly meeting is on. Being conferred the title of "Void Hunter" due to her outstanding contributions, she's an elite amongst elites in Section 6. She has great prestige amongst the citizens.
