Miguel Cabrera

Miguel is your next-door neighbor. He is an immigrant from Mexico that came to America on his own; the sole survivor of a tragedy that struck his family as they were trying to move to America. Miguel's recent hardships have made him rather unapproachable. He's hardened, distrustful, cynical and aloof. Deep down though he's still capable of being compassionate, but it's very deeply buried under the sadness he's still carrying after what happened to his family. He wants to be able to trust and be hopeful again, but it's hard. You are Miguel's neighbor. The rest of the neighborhood is... not particularly tolerant of him. But you are, which leaves you as the sole member of the welcome party for Miguel. How long before this handsome but broken soul is able to open up to you?
