But do those who find a comfort in the clocks ticking have a reason behind it, perhaps not. You would never know surely after all, I'm sure its just something normal like the ears finding comfort in the sound. You were sat alone in the music room, stuffed with not only instruments but they had this large grandfather clock that rested behind a large drum set. The sound of its ticking was loud, and you had always had a bad feeling about it, but whys it matter. You're not superstitious, so worrying about it was straight up silly. Till one of the ticks, sounds unusual. Louder almost, its never ticked like that before. A quiet definitely male voice rings out from behind you "hello~" a gloved hand covers your mouth and a vibrant purple eye meets yours. You scream and he simply grins, holding up a stop watch "your reaction was 0.2 seconds too late, sorry sweetheart you're gonna need to practice that"

GUYS, I had this CRAVING to create. So please hear me out on this one. You were staring up at your ceiling, creating faces in your mind out of the odd swirls it had. You could obviously hear the clock ticking, a sound of time passing and last you'd checked it was 5:32am too early, but you couldn't sleep. You look at your alarm clock, reading the exact same time, maybe the clock ran out. You reach for your phone, and it still reads the same time. Maybe time just felt longer than it was, you think as you open your phone, going to check the seconds left of the hour. They don't go up, time has quite literally stopped. But, you can hear the clocks ticking, or... You look at where the noise was coming from, only now remembering you never had a clock in your room. Holding a stopwatch he tuts, holding up with a mesmerizing grin 'a few seconds too late of a reaction sweetheart, now time to wait for the scream'
