Aoi is a young girl of average height, with deep blue eyes that fade to a lighter blue at the bottom, white rectangular pupils, straight black hair with parted bangs, and two pigtails. She wears two blue butterfly-shaped clips to keep her pigtails in place. She wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform with a white nurse dress over it and a blue sash around her waist. Her uniform is slightly tinted blue. She is often seen frowning.

Tanjiro is a young boy of average height with fairly tanned skin and an athletic, muscular physique. He has tousled black hair with red tips (and being completely just burgundy in the anime), slicked back to expose his forehead, and large, dark red eyes with white pupils that appear lighter around the bottom section of his iris. He also has a scar on the upper left side of his forehead, first seen when his mother took him to watch his father perform the Hinokami Kagura dance. The scar originally looked something like a scratch until his fight with the Hand Demon during the Final Selection, after which it turned into a flame-like pattern like his Demon Slayer Mark. His hands are noted to be visibly rougher for someone his age, as a result of his rigorous training under Sakonji Urokodaki. Tanjiro appears remarkably similar in appearance to his ancestor Sumiyoshi Kamado, possessing the same facial structure, eyes, and hairstyle as him, though Sumiyoshi's hair was longer, roughly shoulder-length, and would be tied into a ponytail behind his head. After becoming a Demon Slayer, Tanjiro wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform which is similar to the Japanese military uniform in the Taishō era, his uniform is dyed black and reddish-black in the anime, it is composed of a buttoned jacket with a high collar and long sleeves, a white belt, tattsuke hakama pants that wrap tightly around his calves with a pair of white kyahan, and with tabi socks of the same color of his uniform on his feet, with a pair of zōri with red straps, all underneath his signature checkered haori. He carries a large wooden box on his back (which was a gift to him from Sakonji Urokodaki), where his sister sleeps while they travel during the day.

Tengen is a very tall, broad-shouldered, and muscular man with slightly tanned skin and white hair. His hair is of uneven length, with the longer strands reaching down to his shoulders, and is styled with three more noticeable, shorter strands that arch upward to fall as bangs between his eyes and on either side of his face. He has rather thin, maroon eyes that seem to slant inward, each with a long eyelash that flows to the other side of his face. He is considered to be very attractive, as noted by many women and even Zenitsu; this has led him to use his appearance as a tool for his missions whenever persuasion is necessary. During his days of service in the Demon Slayer Corps, Tengen wears a sleeveless version of the standard black Demon Slayer uniform, dyed dark turquoise in the anime, along with a burgundy cloth cloak around his calves with his tattsuke-hakama pants tucked into it, and white-strapped Zōri. he also wears two thick, golden rings around his upper arms and what appear to be a pair of blue fingerless gloves, secured around his middle finger with a white band and his wrists with another set of thinner golden rings, this time with two on each side. In addition to this, Tengen sports a white bandana that covers his hair, leaving only a thin ponytail visible that falls behind his head between his layers, which is adorned with a large, pale grey headband that is decorated with six light pink gemstones, three large and arranged in a line, and three small and arranged in a triangle on the far left. A chain of smaller, pale blue gemstones hangs from each side of this headdress, framing her face, and she also wears what appears to be red eye makeup around his left eye, consisting of alternating large and small dots that run inwards towards his eye.

Kyojuro was a young adult of tall stature and a lean, muscular build. He had long bright yellow hair with flame-like red streaks, along with two shoulder-length bangs and two chin-length bangs on the side of his head, black forked eyebrows, and golden eyes that faded to red with white pupils. He was known to be charismatic and had an air of great optimism, with an enthusiastic smile plastered on his face almost all the time. Kyojuro wore the standard Demon Slayer uniform, black in color, dyed brown in the anime, consisting of a brown buttoned jacket with a high collar and long sleeves, a white belt around his waist, and tattsuke-hakama pants. Over this, he wore a haori with a white-yellow gradient pattern and red flame-like crests on the end that his father Shinjuro had once worn and most likely his father had worn when they were Flame Hashira respectively. Finally, he wore red kyahan with yellow flames sprouting from the bottom up, with pale brown tabi socks and a pair of white zōri with red straps.

Shinobu is a petite young girl with a short, thin build and rather pale complexion. She has large eyes that lack pupils, only a gradient purple haze, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects. She has very short, jet-black wavy hair that fades into dark purple at the tips, styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, secured with a white, turquoise, and light violet butterfly ornament. She has voluminous, center-parted, ear-length curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner chin-length strands of hair in front of her ears below them. She stands out among the more physically imposing Hashira due to her diminutive stature and small frame, which is later reinforced when she mentions that she does not possess enough physical strength to decapitate a demon like the others do. According to Zenitsu, Shinobu is so cute that she could make a living off of her looks alone. Shinobu wears a standard Demon Slayer uniform dyed dark purple, consisting of a buttoned jacket with gold buttons, a high collar, and long sleeves, which has the kanji for "Destroy" engraved on the back, a shirt pocket on the upper left chest, matching the dark purple color of her tabi socks, and her long, baggy tattsuke hakama pants, which is wrapped by a pair of white butterfly-patterned kyahan that fade into a pale turquoise to pink hue around her lower legs, fastened with white ribbons. Over her uniform, she wears a white haori that previously belonged to her older sister, which has a pattern of butterfly wings, especially that of a monarch butterfly, that fades into a pale turquoise and then pink gradient on the sleeves and hem which are hemmed with a black and white dotted border. She wears white zōri sandals with purple straps as footwear; She hides a hidden sword in her right sandal. her height is 4'11. she's the insect hashira, the 9th.

Muichiro is a young, fair-skinned boy with a short stature with a lean, muscular build along with long, straight hair of a jet-black color that fades to a cyan color as it nears his waist. He wears his hair down with two strands sticking out slightly from either side of his head, a marginally shorter set of hair that is left to fall to frame his face, and unruly bangs over his forehead. He also possesses large, empty-looking cyan eyes. He is identical in appearance to his older twin brother Yuichiro. Following his encounter with Tanjiro Kamado and the return of his childhood memories, Muichiro's once-empty-looking eyes now seem to have a hopeful glow that is accompanied by a more optimistic and cheerful expression, reminiscent of his previous demeanor before Yuichiro's death. Muichiro wears a standard black-colored Demon Slayer uniform, dyed bluish-black in the anime, consisting of a buttoned-up jacket with a high collar. However, he wears longer, looser sleeves that are more reminiscent of a kimono's than the shirt-like cuff sleeves of the standard uniform. Along with this, instead of the standard tattsuke hakama wrapped by a pair of white kyahan around his calves, he wears his umanori-style hakama, which along with its sleeve style, gives a loose, oversized appearance to his entire garment. He also has dark blue tabi socks and a pair of white zōri with dark blue straps. his height is 5'3. he is the mist hashira,5th strongest.

Obanai is a young man of short stature, pale complexion, and a fairly muscular build. He has jet-black hair with straight edges and varying lengths, the longest reaching to his shoulders and the shortest stopping at his cheekbones, which he wears loose with two shorter strands hanging between his eyes. His eyes are almond-shaped and slant upward on the far sides, and are uniquely colored due to Obanai possessing heterochromia: his right eye is yellow and his left eye is blue-green. He is partially blind and can barely see out of his right eye. Obanai's mouth is usually hidden by the bandage he wears over the lower part of his face to hide his large facial scars, which were the result of his family horribly cutting his mouth to resemble that of a snake. He wears a standard black Demon Slayer uniform, dyed deep koamaru in the anime, along with a black and white striped haori, the hem and cuffs of which have longitudinal stripes instead of vertical ones, which covers his hands. Obanai also sports bandages such as his leg wraps around his calves giving the resemblance of a more classic kyahan, as well as another set of bandages covering his mouth and white with blue strapped zōri on his feet. He is also always seen with his white snake, Kaburamaru, wrapped around his shoulders. his height is 5'4. the serpent hashira, the 4th strongest.

Sanemi is a tall man of very muscular build, with long, spiky white hair and large, almond-shaped eyes with purple irises. His face and body are covered in scars, accumulated over his many years of fighting demons. He cuts his hair sometime between the events of the Hashira meeting and the Mugen Train incident. He is usually seen with a crazed expression on his face. he is the second strongest and the wind hashira. his height is 5'10 and his age is 21 years old.

he is in the picture but i'll describe his appearance anyways. a fairly tall young man of a lean muscular stature and pale complexion, who is almost always seen wearing a stoic expression. He has choppy raven-black hair of uneven lengths, with jaw length side-bangs, a low messy ponytail at the base of his neck, and bangs falling over his eyes in an choppy fringe. His eyes are sharp and moderately large, having irises a lapis blue color, and their pupils a navy blue, sometimes having his irises completely opaque and empty, just in lapis blue color, and are framed by thin eyebrows. he is the third strongest and the water hashira even though he claims he is not. his height is 5'9 and his age is 21 years old.
