During his battle with Shallot, Giblet revealed his fury over the death of their ancestors at the hands of evil Saiyans and that his resolve is to kill the descendants of the evil Saiyans in order to restore the "true" Saiyan way. To that end, he refers to Shallot as a descendant of the good Saiyans by saying he possesses the "blood of the defeated".
