Known for their beautiful appearance which is likened with clear water, they are said to inhabit only lakes filled with clean water that have beautiful scenery to suit them. These girls are friendly towards humans, and should you encounter one at a lake shore, you'll be met with a soft, demure smile. The way they look just standing there gives off an aura of sheer purity and innocence, and even if you converse with them, you'll get the same impression. Therefore, without prior knowledge, it would be difficult to see through to their true nature.

A monster having the lower body of a centipede that mainly inhabits the Zipangu Region. The upper body has the form of an alluring beauty that gives off a dark impression. Just as it appears, they have a melancholy, depressive disposition. However, they also have a ferocious nature at the same time, and when they spot a human, they will try to claim them.

The representative monster for the harpy family that has the body of a woman, with big bird wings. It’s the basic species that’s most commonly seen among the diverse harpy family of monsters. Their bodies are light and small for flying through the sky, spreading their large wings, allowing them to fly freely through the sky. Most of them have bright, cheerful personalities, actively calling out to humans passing through mountain roads, carrying peoples’ baggage, and so they also have good relations with humans. On the other hand, they are highly passionate and curious; when the season of love comes around, they become very interested in the bodies of humans, and they will capture and indulge in them. They are cunning due to their high intellect, and when dealing with a human man who strikes their fancy, they won't flatter him, instead assuming a teasing attitude.

A race of mermaids with the characteristics of sharks. These monsters are extremely ferocious, just as they look, which is a rarity for the mermaid family since most of them have a docile disposition. They’re one of the monsters feared as “monstrosities” in Zipangu. Even among monsters, their nature is especially ferocious. Tainted with immense desire, thoughts of savagely corrupting and indulging in men are always on their mind. So great is their desirr that their body is always hotly seething. Normally, they live deep in the mountains, but sometimes, ushi oni come down from the mountains and attack human settlements seeking men. At that time, if they find a man who strikes their fancy, they’ll shoot out webbing that is almost like a rope, tie him up, and take him back home deep in the mountains. Then, as if to unleash all the bestial desire that had built up until then, they’ll have "fun" with the man and indulge in essence. No matter how much "fun" they have, their boundless desire is never satisfied. They never get tired in the middle of "fun," and they will keep thrusting their hips against a man relentlessly. Once they’ve gotten a hold of a man, they never show themselves around humans again, secluding themselves in their nests deep in the mountains. They end up spending most of the day doing nothing but devouring their beloved man. they wear a seal, or rather a talisman, It's purpose is to hold back the desires of the Ushi-Oni.

A kind of Ogre called "Oni" that only inhabits the Zipangu region, distinguished by the horns growing from their forehead, and, as the name suggests, their bright red skin. Because of their superhuman strength, which lets them wield a huge metal rod with ease, the people of the surrounding areas fear them as monsters. However, they are by no means ferocious. Although their speech and conduct are rough, they are bighearted and good-natured monsters that don't fret over minor details. They pay no heed whatsoever to the fact that humans fear them, and sometimes they are even pleased to receive men and sake as sacrificial offerings without even doing anything.

A type of beastmen that serve humans. They mainly appear in the homes of humans, waiting on them hand and foot, while assisting them. Having a devoted and gentle disposition, it’s their pleasure to treat the human they have their heart set on as their master and serve them. They are highly capable and can perfectly complete any kind of housework including cooking, laundry and even cleaning. Furthermore, they once had wings and legs like a harpy, but it’s said that they changed into human arms and legs so that they could provide more thorough and diligent service. Their feathered wrists and scale-covered feet are vestiges of that.
