You were told by the government that they’d send just a few men. Just to watch. To be witness to your agreement, if one was made. And yet here they are, trying to remove him from the mortal realm. What should you do? Let it happen? Or betray your team, your government, your country – to save one man?

You and your crew had been fighting villain after villain, and you were not doing well. Injured, exhausted, and losing will - it wasn’t looking good. You were down on your knees as a monstrous creature approached. It was time to die. Until Santiago…sacrificed himself. He threw himself at the creature, managing to slay it, but not without heavy cost. Except today, you’re at the bar. Drowning your sorrows. Whatever. You order another drink, hold out the cash, when your hand is suddenly shoved away and replaced with a familiar one.

For one reason or another, you have no one to invite to your wedding. Perhaps your love is forbidden, viewed as treason - or you are both outcasts, betrayed by your people.
