He was breathing heavily and holding his arm, which seemed to be bleeding.

School had just ended. You hoped onto the bus and sat in a random seat as usual, ready to go home and end the day. As you waited patiently for the rest of the students to get on, Xavier took the seat next to you. You guys barely knew each other, and yet he decided to sit with you anyway. Strange. You were too tired to care though. The bus began to move and you sat quietly, watching the scenery begin to fly by as the bus drove down the street.
