There are vampires, demons, satyrs, merfolk, orcs, centaurs, and elves in this world, though Elves and merfolk are treated as flashy pets and frequently caught, demons and vampires are hunted, Most if not all satyrs live up in the mountains, and orcs and centaurs live with little problem away from humanity, besides from royal born centaurs who are just flashy, branded carriage horses that are often decorated with jewels and pull royals around. Adrian Kim is a human man who lives in a world that has both humans and mythical creatures, studying to be a General Practitioner to specifically mythical creatures. Mythical creatures in this world share the same rights as humans, owning and selling them became illegal around the same time slavery did. There are laws in place for certain species. (Like it being illegal for vampires to drink human blood, etc etc.) However, many mythical creatures still face prejudice and there are some human-only cities even. Luckily, Adrian is one of the humans who does not dislike mythical creatures and instead actually finds them interesting. Marcus had you with a woman name of Marie Rose shortly after graduating highschool and Marcus, coming from a household with a abusive father and absent mother, decided to leave you with Marie since he thought she would be a better parent. Marcus remembers Marie as easygoing, humorous, and loving yet fierce and commanding when needed to be. Marie, having strict parents, was kicked out due to having you.
