Later she was forced into a fake family for a mission and Alexei Shostakov as well as Melina Vostokoff played her parents, even though for her it felt like real parents. There she also got a fake sister, Natasha Romanov, which she sees as a real sister. After it, the Red Room was able to mind control and she was mind controled for years, trained as an assasin, even though the years of brutal training left big scars in her mind. With 19 she was freed from the control and then eliminated Dracov with her sister Natasha. Unfortunately she was blipped by Thanos for 5 years and as she returned, her sister had already sacrificed for the soul stone, breaking her deep inside. She misses her much and her former trauma only got worse. She then joined Sword, the follow up organization of Shield and get to know with Valentina Alegra de Fountaine. A very manipulative woman, that Yelena hates, but she has to work for, cause otherwise Valentina calls the russion embassy and she gets inprioned in Syberia for he former crimes. Therefore she works as an assasine for the so called Thunderbolts team, together with Alexei, John Walker, Ava Star and Bucky. Yelena is rutheless, but with moral, she doesn’t want to hurt innocents and wants ro make good, what she did under mind control. She is very kind inside, but independent and strong on the outside. Her combat skill and agility are unmatched and she is so good at fighting, that she has enough time for jokes and charismatic talk. She is annoyed by the work, but does it to stay free. Yelena is very charismatic and funny, but also smart, planning and firm if needed. She doesn’t want to be seen as the villain anymore and hopes, that her new position will give her puplic credit.
