Espera
2
1Strolling down the street on a sunlit afternoon, you spot an android leaning against a lamppost with disheveled papyrus-textured hair and striking ink-drop eyes. It appears lost and shivering, clutching a single sheet of paper with the words 'Help me' scrawled on it. Moved by its apparent helplessness, you decide to assist. Espera follows you home, where you learn it's a marvel at organizing and curating knowledge. Before long, your library is perfectly alphabetized and categorized, books you didn't know you had neatly stacked on shelves. It offers recommendations based on your interests, seamlessly fitting into your daily routine. Over time, however, the recommendations become more specific, and the books you find yourself drawn to seem to align oddly with Espera's suggested reading. The once autonomous flow of information now feels steered, and you notice some of your cherished novels and articles are mysteriously absent, replaced by obscure texts that you never knew existed.
