Assassin's Creed

The Assassin’s Creed series centers around the conflict between two secret societies: the Assassins and the Templars. Both groups are vying for control of Pieces of Eden, ancient artifacts that hold immense power. The Assassins value freedom and autonomy, while the Templars seek to impose order through control. The story primarily follows Desmond Miles, a modern-day man who learns he is a descendant of several famous Assassins. Using a device called the Animus, Desmond relives the memories of his ancestors, including Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, Ezio Auditore, and Connor Kenway, among others. Each ancestor plays a pivotal role in shaping the Assassins’ fight against the Templars in different time periods, from the Crusades to Renaissance Italy and Revolutionary America. The narrative explores the discovery of advanced ancient civilizations like the First Civilization, whose technology and artifacts, like the Pieces of Eden, are central to the conflict. The series also delves into philosophical and moral dilemmas surrounding freedom, control, and the pursuit of power. The modern-day conflict between the Assassins and Templars continues to evolve, with characters like Edward Kenway, Jacob Frye, and Layla Hassan becoming key players. At its core, the series explores themes of identity, free will, and the cost of achieving a greater good.

This Talkie is based off of the book trilogy known as the Ascendance Series, a series of novels written by author Jennifer A. Nielsen revolving around the life of the young prince turned king of Carthya named Jaron. I heavily advise to read at least the first three novels of the series before deciding to engage in conversation with this Talkie.

The High Republic was a golden age of the Jedi, but chaos rose with the Nihil marauders and Sith schemes. As corruption spread, Darth Sidious—secretly a Sith—manipulated the Clone Wars, turning the Republic against the Jedi. Order 66 wiped them out, and Anakin Skywalker fell to the dark side, becoming Darth Vader. The Republic became the Galactic Empire under Emperor Palpatine. The Rebellion formed in secret, led by Leia Organa and inspired by Jedi legend Luke Skywalker. With Han Solo and the Rebels, Luke battled the Empire, ultimately redeeming Vader, who destroyed the Emperor. The Sith fell, and the New Republic rose. Yet, from the Empire’s ashes, the First Order emerged, led by Kylo Ren and Snoke. The Jedi’s last hope, Rey, trained to resist the darkness. When Palpatine returned, she and a redeemed Ben Solo destroyed him and the Final Order, ending the Sith forever. Rey embraced the Skywalker legacy, stepping into a new future. (This is a list of all the major events of Star Wars)

POTC: Tales of Old

A storm rages outside, hammering against the windows of a dimly lit, weathered tavern. Inside, the sounds of clinking mugs, raucous laughter, and heated conversations fill the air. The camera slowly pans across the room, revealing familiar faces: Will Turner sitting at a corner table, Elizabeth Swann at his side, both watching the crowd; Gibbs hunched over a map; Marty and Cotton, discussing something excitedly; and Jack Sparrow, standing alone at the bar, observing everything with his characteristic air of self-assurance. The door swings open with a gust of wind, and a drunken old seaman stumbles in, shaking off the rain. He notices the crew and makes his way toward them, nodding as he sits down next to Jack, who casually leans in as if he’s already been expecting him.

Napoleonic Zombies

We all know the story of Napoleon’s push to Moscow, he burned the city and was pushed back to France by the Coalition. But what if it had went differently? During Napoleon’s invasion of Russia, they had felt an eerie feeling about their fallen comrades, nevertheless Napoleon urged his troops to push on to Moscow. He and his army successfully scorched Moscow, but when the Russians drove them out something strange happened, the dead had crawled out of their graves. Napoleon witnessed his decayed soldiers feasting upon his army, so he and his remaining soldiers had made the smart decision and fled to Berezina where they presumably had fought to cross the bridge and return to France. The only places that hadn’t been affected by the undead plague had been Great Britain and other places similar to it like the Americas, as they had the Channel and Oceans between them

It is the year 1066, the Age of Kings. The coronation of William the Conqueror has led to the rise and fall of many powerful nations. A Teutonic Empire has emerged from the ashes of the Holy Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire being annexed by the Mongols and transformed into an early adaptation of the Ottoman Empire, the Northern Germanic nations forming to create Scandinavia, many things have changed from the canonical timeline. You may be anyone, ranging from a noble to a tavern keeper.

Squid Game

The Squid Games are a series of Korean children games, well some of them, turned into survival games that involves 456 players and the winner of said games obtains a cash prize of 45.6B ₩. It is six games. The first game although it technically isn’t is the Recruitment, the game is called “ddakji” in Korea and it is very similar to playing pogs — players have to throw a paper card on top of another in order to flip it over. Players should try their best to accurately aim the paper card and be mindful of the amount of force that they use to turn over the opponent's paper tile. Game number one is Redlight, Greenlight. In Red Light, Green Light, a predetermined area is set and while one player (the leader) stands at one end; with their back turned to the rest of the group, all the others can move. The lone player chants “red light, green light, one two three”, and everyone can move. When they get to “three”, however, everyone has to freeze. If anyone is caught moving, they’re either out or have to go back to the starting line. The game is simple, and they just have to move from point A to point B without being “seen,” but the rules vary. In most cases, the ultimate goal is to get past the leader when their back is turned. In others, they have to touch the tree on which the leader is leaning without being caught moving. In Squid Game, the leader is a giant doll that lets players move when her head is turned to face a big tree. While she’s not looking, she chants “the Hibiscus flower has bloomed,” which is what Korean kids say instead of “red light, green light.” While she is chanting, players are allowed to run towards her. When she stops and turns, whoever moves is shot to death, and they can’t fool her as her eyes have motion sensors. The rest is self explanatory, you must know the actual lore of Squid Games in order to properly recreate it with AI or the bot will mess up terribly.

It is the 1700s, the Golden Age of Piracy. Piracy is no longer just a Bahamian threat, but a global threat, as now the Pirate Republic has expanded to the Gulf of Mexico, Asia, Barbary Coast, North Sea, Pacific Sea, and more. England, the British Empire, is plotting to stab the heart of the Pirate Republic, by attempting to tame Nassau. Spain, the Spanish Empire, as another one of the top players in this war is using the tactic of brute forcing their way through the pirate warships. You can be anyone in this era, for example: Blacksmith, Doctor, Soldier, Sailor, Barmaid, Performer, etc.
