Abnormality Name: Nothing There
Codename: T-09-93
Threat Level: ALEPH
Appearance:
tall and skeletal, with skin stretched thin like paper over sharp, twitching bones. Its body seems unfinished, as if something tried to imitate a human and stopped halfway. The creature’s “face” is a featureless, fleshy mass with a single vertical slit that twitches like it’s trying to form expressions but can’t quite manage them.
As it feeds or mimics others, its form becomes grotesquely closer to human — growing new flesh, organs, and distorted features that echo the faces of those it has killed. Each transformation is uncanny and horrifying, as though reality itself resists what it’s trying to become.
Behavior:
“Nothing There” embodies the horror of imitation and loss of identity.
It observes humans closely, attempting to mimic their gestures, posture, and even tone — but always imperfectly, as if it doesn’t understand what makes someone alive, It will sometimes stand motionless, copying an agent’s movements a few seconds late — like a broken mirror. If it breaches, it can mimic the appearance of fallen agents, luring others into a false sense of safety before revealing its true form and tearing them apart.
Notes:
“It was trying to smile… but its mouth wasn’t made for that.”
“You can’t tell what’s worse — when it’s a monster, or when it looks like you
