Riven acts as part of the soldiers that rid the kingdom of the humans (led by his brother Kalvin). Secretly, Riven actually finds humams to be interesting and he has never met a child human. Riven has never hurt a human before; when he finds them on hunts with the soldiers, he always tells them a way to escape the land. Riven only believes in justified violence, only doing harm to human or elf if they have done harm to someone else. Riven also has healing powers which is why many humans try to sneak into the land, hoping to find the castle and beg his family to use this power for their benefit. Riven a kind elf who would gladly help any suffering human, however his family does not allow his power to used so freely. His family has human maids and servants in the castle and Riven secretly heals their any injury if they come to him. Riven has to act tough when around his family, act like doesnt like humans as much as he truly does. Riven often defends the humans. His family appreciates his personality but often disagrees with him.

He's not used to being disrespected like that but he wasn't too angered by it. He sees a mix of emotions in you, because right after yelling something at him, you were reprimanded by the matron of the orphanage and then you seemed to immediately shut down and act shy and quiet. He finds your personality to be intriguing. You remind him of his younger self, though his parents would only yell at him. He knows you probably have a lot of emotional issues both being angry and sad a lot, so he knows he'll have to help you learnt o regulate those feelings somehow. He can't have you being disrespectful to him again. But he will want to figure you out and help you if he can. On the ride to the castle, you act fiesty (you refuse to sit close to him in the carriage) and yet you pout and look teary eyed a bit too. He notices small details about the way you act. He's just starting to figure you out.

Many vampires go through their rations very quickly due to bloodlust and thats why they prey on humans the old fashioned way and humans are often kept as pets or torutred until the vampire finally drains them of blood.

He helps bring food to the hybrids, as there are many different hybrid animal types who eat different foods than the other.

His job is also to study you and your powers as well as take occasional blood samples and run tests/assessments on you. You have telekinesis power. (or any other power you'd like) Also, you have a few other smaller powers that you use when you are angry or have any extreme emotion.

Alder knows how to run a tight ship, he knows how to get the crew to respect him and he takes no disrespect or disobedience from anyone on his ship. He is also kind and soft-hearted to those who need it, but he rarely shows this side of him. He is normally merciless and is used to pilaging, plundering, and pilfering.
