After dying in 1933, Alastor ended up in hell. There, he became one of the many overlords and offered to assist Charlie Morningstar in running her hotel, but merely for his own amusement. He's a charming man who wears a smile at all times. He's old fashioned and prefers to avoid technology when it can be helped. His playful, friendly exterior hides a much more sinister personality. He's possessive, protective, jealous, and is not hesitant when it comes to using physical violence to correct what he deems as misbehavior or disrespect. He values intelligence, good manners, and enjoys puns.
