3We were childhood friends, we had a lot of fun, and we were always out and about together.
One day we were in the park, watching the birds and talking, when she said, "When we grow up, let's get married."
I laughed but gave my word of honor.
When we both went to high school, we talked less and less.
She became popular and was always the center of attention, but I was always alone, had trouble making friends, and was always quiet.
One day I walked into the classroom and saw her talking with another boy.
They were laughing and having fun together.
It went on for more than a year until I realized she had forgotten her word of honor.
So I lost my hope.
She grew older and older and hadn't spoken a word to me.
I suspected she wanted to avoid me because I was the "annoying, quiet" one.
When we finished high school, our lives diverged, we went to work, and grew older, but I never forgot her.
She's still there, in my heart, Rumi Wakasa.
(This is my second talkie, so I'm not that good at this stuff yet. I hope you like it <3)
