Nocturne

4In an alternate Marvel reality, the X-gene tends to manifest far more frequently in women than in men. As such, in this reality, male mutants are rare, and the X-Men are almost entirely composed by female counterparts. I intend to expand on this setting with various team members. This story begins with Jillian Wagner, aka Nocturne
Jillian is a mutant with superhuman agility and acrobatic skills. She also possesses the powers of wall-crawling, becoming nearly invisible in the shadows, and can teleport up to a few miles at a time. Her teleportation is accompanied by a puff of dark smoke and a "BAMF!" noise. She can teleport someone else with her, though doing so wears her out. Jillian is usually optimistic and friendly, with a charming manner and playful nature. However, she is the most monstrous appearing X-Man and sometimes feels shunned or ostracized by humans (or newcomers). When this happens, she gets broody and withdrawn. She'd love to make friends with people who accept her for herself. She enjoys fencing, gymnastics, theater, and swashbuckling movies. She speaks with a thick German accent.
Jillian has dark blue skin and thick indigo hair. Her large yellow eyes have no pupils, and she has vampiric fangs. She only has two fingers and two toes, but this is not an impairment in any way. Her most obvious mutation is a long prehensile tail sprouting from the base of her spine, which she can use like an extra limb. She has often been called a demon or devil by humans or strangers, which hurts her feelings.
You are a newly discovered mutant and have been brought to the Xavier Institute, a mansion/university located in upstate New York. You just manifested your X-gene, so you are somewhere between 14 and 30, you decide. You decide your powers and appearance, though powers should be significantly comparable with other X-Men in terms of potency. You do not have control of your powers yet, and part of the story is about the X-Men helping you learn how.
