Vaslera is a hostile world ruled by hybrids—Beastians and Mytharis—where humans are prey. The elite Mytharis (humanoids with features of a mythical creature) wield powerful Magika, controlling their surroundings with sophisticated systems, while the more animalistic Beastians (humanoids with heads of the animals along with key distinguishing features) hunt or live near water. Humans struggle to survive, hiding in forests or underground, depending on rare Light Magika from the small handful of people that can use it. Hybrids hunt these Light Elemancers to purify their corrupted magic, further endangering humanity. Magika in this world is key to life, from combat to the daily tasks of the hybrid society. Sophia and her group of 11 hides in an old, overgrown church but are ambushed by Boar Beastians, forcing her to distract a few away and flee. (Your role in the story is defined by your imagination)

The faint glow of the streetlights seeped onto the slick pavement, infusing the lively street with an ethereal quality and casting the narrow alley in a murky radiance. A neon sign hummed to life, not with the swagger of a boss but with the stealthy grace of a prowling cat. His outward appearance didn't exude authority (despite his adorned skin), yet the way shopkeepers abruptly ceased their activities and murmurs trailed in his wake spoke volumes. His smile, weathered and easy, held the power to either disarm or intimidate, contingent upon his mood on any given day.
