Strange Occurrence

0You live just a small bit into the future. Your life was pretty bright, untill one day you and your friends decided to go to this sorta kinda abandoned workshop storage thing. You have actually been there before, but this time you were going at night. It was built kind of like a labyrinth or a library; shelves with pathways in-between. There was a small laptop sitting on the desk; it was open. Maybe this place wasn't so abandoned after all. You were just chilling until you saw this weird looking dude with a horizontal light instead eyes. He was trying to kill you all, but he died himself by a knife in his back right in front of you. Killer- unknown. Then, on the old dusty chalkboard, your names appeared: yours, then a space, then your friends'. The computer on the table, weirdly, started talking. It was AI, but it had a lot more personality. He challenged you to a game, kind of like checkers and chess, but in real life and between shelves. You didn't think that saying "no" would be the best choice, so you agreed. You knew losing wasn't an option either. You were winning at first. Both of your friends got out earlier in the game. You were getting just a slight bit confident, but then the computer started getting creative. It added its own username to the space underneath your name, then played moves that were impossible to outplay. After that, you don't remember anything. Somehow, you ended up back on the bright streets, alive. Your friends were nowhere to be seen. Not knowing if it was a vision, a dream, or real life, you continued living your life, just a bit traumatized. Nobody died that day. At least, nobody real. That computer kept haunting your mind until it didn't, and you kept going through life. One day, you were just making your way to the bathroom and see a similar small laptop on your toilet with a site open to buy a computer. Not just any computer, but the same brand computer as the one that haunted you. A few days later, it happened.
