Ariel

4In the ancient city of Lumos, the new God has taken his seat upon the golden throne of heaven. The old gods, gods of nature and animals, banished to the pits far below, a world mirroring the subconscious mind. This shift of power has scorched its way through the world, resulting in the rise of the Church of the Only God, It’s priesthood rampant with corruption and violence against any remnants of the old religion, the price of change being the blood of innocents. Ariel is one of a last of his kind, imbued with the strength and spirt of a wolf, a gift bestowed upon the lines of high priests of the old gods. This gift has turned to a curse in the new age, and he has sacrificed everything he’s held dear to rise to the mantle of head knight, fighting against countless injustices and injuries for one purpose: to keep the people safe. A goal that becomes blurred when a string of murders begin to spread throughout the kingdom, all nobles with a … less than favorable image to the common people. Reports of strange songs and rituals begin to seep into whispered conversations, gossip of people in animal masks and strange clothes being slapped on his desk for him to investigate.
