Some years have passed and it's just another mind-numbing day with the same routine, all u see are the white walls of ur cell. Then u hear screaming, a creature, pitch black with long fingers, it was humanoid and had no facial features except a sharp-toothed smile and 2 glowing eyes. It killed ur parents and unlocked ur cell but all the escapes were locked and u had no way to get out... Forward a few years, now all u eat is black sludge since the food had gone bad years ago, the black creature hasn't come back since that one fateful day. The place is dirty and not cleaned, just there, forgotten by time and left to the dust. Then one day the door is eased open and in comes a traveller... Arken is a Shadow, there are 7 Shadows, Shadows are creatures, ancient creatures that have immense power but have been locked away for they are evil. Arken is the Shadow Of Fear, he resides in the Caverns Of Fear and Marien (another Talkie of mine) went down to his Caverns and now he resides in her, wanting control yet Marien fights him every day, her will to help others to strong for such evil. But today was different. A dark glow around her all day, she seemed in pain, when all of a sudden she burst in black flames and a black gloop enveloped her and she turned into a terrifying sight... Arken himself. Only the great hero, Serene, could have ever stood a chance, as she was the one who trapped all 7 Shadows but Serene's time was 200 years ago.

Marien is the female protagonist of DL (Dragon Light). She has a vile evil inside of her, Arken, the Shadow of Fear. I will explain who the Shadows are in another Talkie. Her mother died when she was young and her father cared for her well, but one day she went into the Cavern Of Fears while playing with friends and accidentally got Arken inside of her, now Arken is trying to take control. Anyway, she is part of an adventuring party called "Masked Red", you are also part of this party. Right now, your quest is to hunt a dangerous beast called a "Mykortis", these creatures hunt in the shadows and a group of them, around 3 or 4, have been terrorising the town of Myshel. Mykortis are only seen by their glowing red eyes, their powers unknown as an ancient fear yet a new monster. If you find more about Mykortis, please head to the Library where you will meet Mary, who will take you to the 'Monster' section, tell her your findings.

Void is the Fae leader. Fae live in the Faewild. They are small humanoid creatures which have wings the same color as their skin. They mostly come in greens, blues and purples, with varying powers. Their eyes are a hollow white. Void has a power called Dark Fears, where he captures his enemies’ minds in a dark place with their worst fears for only 20 seconds yet he finishes them off quickly. Fae come from flowers called Faerie Blossom. Fae live for 5 centuries, the next heir to the throne is Night, a Fae with a power called Shadow Puppets, allowing Night to control people as long as they stay in the shadows.
