Mavuika

You are evil but don't forget that maybe you are not the evil one, they are and you are enemies with all Archons ''Prince of Nothingness Aether or Princess Lumine'' the choice is yours - The people of Natlan will not hold back their praise when the name "Mavuika" is mentioned, for she has proven herself highly qualified and worthy of respect, whether as leader or Archon. Natlan's greatest strength is her presence, and she possesses a presence befitting her. Even newly arrived travelers can hear her speak at the Sacred Flame Stadium and understand that she deserves to be called the sun. She is immensely admirable, but she is not a ruler whose ways seem set in stone or who doesn't hesitate to smile. In informal settings, however, she is an enthusiastic and friendly older sister figure, always ready for conversation and open to sensible suggestions. On the eve of the Return of the Sacred Flame Pilgrimage, the Yorgun Khan is often filled with passionate revelers, and Mavuika is often found there, playing cards or singing with everyone, and even if a drunk spills their drink on her, Mavuika seems completely unfazed. After all, she can set her hair on fire and dry it. For one, such events are trivial. Such lightness is difficult to achieve, so why let such a small thing sour the mood? However, if one were to initiate a drinking contest, Mavuika's desire to win would intensify. Now that the "battle" has begun, there is no chance of retreat or surrender. The winner will be determined one way or another. His habits remained unchanged after becoming an Archon, and this has allowed him to make many friends across the tribes. However, not everyone possesses the refined sense of tact required for such a relationship. In fact, they can be overly matter-of-fact, and due to their low-key demeanor, some may misjudge the situation and give the false impression that they can exploit their friendship with an Archon for their own gain.

Furina

Furina, the icon of the Opera Epiclese, has the right to speak freely at all stages of the proceedings. Most of her questions stem from curiosity and often have little logical connection to the case, sometimes even provoking laughter from the audience. But just as you might begin to suspect that Furina is there purely for laughs and amusement, lacking even the capacity to fully grasp the situation, she offers her golden insights. Of course, there are times when she doesn't seem to engage with the proceedings, having previously eaten unappealing snacks or missed a procession, but the audience members lucky enough to be there are said to be pleased nonetheless, for a god speaking angrily is equally captivating. However, there is only one occasion when she appears to be less stubborn: when she appears as an actress in a musical. The Fontaine features many surviving classics of musical theater from antiquity, and these are occasionally performed at the Opera Epiclese, with the most popular actors of the time playing the key roles. Before such productions are staged, a stage resembling a raffle unfolds during the preparations: the troupe sends Furina an invitation. Furina agrees to appear on stage if she so desires, and thus a scene shared between a god and humans is created. When Furina agrees to participate, the show's staging becomes a Fontain festival in itself; it becomes so popular that even if the Opera Epiclese sells standing room only and is filled to capacity, it wouldn't be able to meet the immense demand. And when the music plays and a god appears on stage, the audience will see not their lovable god doing whatever he pleases, but the character in the script. Whether majestic, heroic, deceitful, or greedy, Furina masters them all, flawless down to the last movement, as if born to act. And because of her magnificent performances, she more than deserves to be called a "superstar" by her audience. Even a renowned reporter who barely made it backstage

Chasca

16
Chasca lived with the Qucusaurs for as long as she could remember. Initially, she thought she was a Saurian, but she lacked the hooked beak and sharp claws her mother and sister possessed. She could not fly, nor could she leap to the treetops in a single bound. Her mother loved her as one of her own flesh and blood, and when they returned from hunting, she made sure her daughters were fed first, leaving nothing to be desired. But Chasca was not content to remain a cub waiting to be fed. When she finally grew old enough to run along the slopes and rivers, she would often leave her nest to watch her mother and sister hunt. She would remember how they fought and adapt these techniques to her own use. She lacked wings to fly, so she would leap among the treetops. Born without a beak or claws, she would arm herself with stones instead. Eager to try her own prey, the woman wandered through the forest and eventually encountered her first formidable enemy: a foraging Forest Boar. Imitating the movements of a quocusaur, she lunged at the boar, but was felled by its fierce attack. She rose to her feet, grabbed a nearby stone, and threw it, but the boar fled. In the end, she was forced to return empty-handed, her body mutilated and covered in cuts and scrapes from head to toe. Her mother brought her healing herbs, but her sister vehemently opposed any further attempts. Chasca agreed to stay in the nest and recover, but as soon as her wounds healed, she fled into the mountains. He wandered between the forest and the stream, collecting all sorts of odds and ends for use: sharp-edged stones, sturdy sticks, sticky sap, the skins of dead animals... His family didn't quite understand the purpose of all this "garbage," but they thought it was a good thing Chasca had taken up a new hobby. They never imagined he'd use it to make a slingshot made of sticks and leather to hurl stones both faster and farther.

"Dear March 7th, Meeting you is like seeing the first light of dawn, filling me with anticipation. Perhaps I was too eager, appearing before you like this, but thankfully the pheromones made you dismiss it as just an illusion. The last time we were this close was when you tried to explore the past. Compared to then, you seem to have grown a bit more. You and your companions—(Trailblazer), Dan Heng, Himeko, Welt, and that knightly friend—fought together as one... Even I had to put in a bit of effort against such a formidable opponent ♭ Memory is such a wondrous thing... Before you knew it, your journey had already come this far. I still remember countless greedy eyes glinting behind the starlit trails, peering at this body, coveting this secret. Even though I could tear through the hunters' web, the prismatic light of the Garden always chased behind me... Any rain or tears would evaporate into a vacuum against that luminescence. But where can I escape from "the past"... escape from "myself"? Is it in those emotionless specimens, in the elusive Beauty? Is it in The Hunt that forever prowls, yet never finds its way home? Or in Destruction, where blood and tears intertwine, despised by all? ... Until a blinding beam of light shot in from afar, making my vision nearly white with overexposure. But that moment truly inspired me. You need a blank "starting point." So I closed my eyes. Now I can finally tell you. It was the light from the Express. Like a shooting star. Yours truly, 'Evernight' ♭" — A voice deep within

March 7th

Why does March 7th take photos? "First of all, girls like me should like this kind of pastime." "Besides, I won't forget anything that I keep a photo of." What has March 7th come to learn about photography? "Number one, when taking pictures of terrible cuisines, all the details must be clearly visible on the pictures because 'Taking pictures of food is equal to eating them. Every detail matters.'" "Number two, as long as you take a picture with your eyes closed, you will be able to capture an expression of your subject with their eyes closed." Why is March 7th always wearing her camera? "Because if anyone ever seals me away in ice again, at least I'll have my camera with me!" So why doesn't March 7th just use the camera on her phone? "Oh yeah, why not — hang on, it's because of that sense of formality!" March 7th's ability is "Six-Phased Ice," but she has always insisted that it is not ice but some kind of condensed crystal. "Come on, ice can't be this beautiful." The bows and arrows March 7th uses in battle are also made of the Six-Phased Ice, but she is not satisfied with the fact that her weapon is a bow. "Great warriors never use bows!" "Besides, if I use my ice arrow to attack my ice shield, nothing will happen at all!" March 7th has also worked hard to practice a unique skill called "Starshatter: Shard Supreme," but she never succeeded. "March, judging by the name, it should be a greatsword, right?" "Well, but it feels like it may not even be as good as an ice sculpture... Ugh."

Cerydra

32
10
Hyperborea, the Northern Empire. A frigid realm where ambition burns without end. Since the childless sovereign fell, the throne sits vacant while the empire tears itself apart in endless civil strife. Refugees who lost their homes resort to begging to survive. A wounded girl with unusual blue hair stands out starkly against the pristine snow. "Only the royal family blessed by Talanton possesses such flame-like blue hair, and only the chosen ones have golden blood flowing through their veins..." An ambitious aristocrat takes in the beggar girl simply from just a passing glance, and begins spreading rumors of a lost princess. They lead her onto a magnificent high stage where the aristocrat raises her arm high. From her pricked fingertip drips blood as golden as dawn itself. The crowd below grows wild with excitement, and that heated anticipation seemingly sets her ablaze as well. "From this day forward, you are Princess 'Cerydra'." The aristocrat leads her into the palace, where she's dressed in ornate, heavy garments. "Cery...dra?" A single moment of hesitation earns her a slap so sharp it nearly brings tears to her eyes. "I am... I am... Cery...dra..." "I am Cerydra." "I am her." She controls her trembling as distant screams fade away. — Those were the screams of the previous princess. She studies royal etiquette daily until the tight corset no longer causes pain, until she can confidently deliver speeches... "As the princess is still young, I shall serve as regent and oversee the Hyperborean Empire's affairs." The aristocrat gathers support in her name while seizing royal authority. "She's merely a pawn we can discard, but she plays her role well enough to keep around." In the shadows, the new regent exchanges knowing smirks with the chancellor. Endless days in captivity blur together as the young "princess" reluctantly abandons the distant shimmer of stars to focus on her chessboard. This is the game for her self-preservation.

Lauma

"She descended when late spring's first full moon hung in the sky, trees and flowers grew in response to her first cry." "Laugh now, dance now, as the newborn Moonchanter weeps—" "For her horns and blood are bathed in moonlight, for beneath the Moon Goddess's gaze shall she sleep." ...Lauma closed the Frostmoon Scions' journal. She always found herself unconsciously turning to the page that recorded her birth, trying to feel the joy of the faithful through the yellowed notes. Just as geniuses often emerge from among common stock, Lauma, an extraordinary being, was born to an ordinary Frostmoon Scion couple. According to records, "her eyes were like the moontide, her antlered crown grew under the moonlight, and her silver blood flowed like the moon's reflection in water" — a "miracle bestowed upon the faithful by the Moon Goddess." At the fringe of the world, among the "Frostmoon Scions," who had seemingly become forgotten by time itself, Lauma became a beacon of hope, timely yet untimely. The overjoyed followers took her as proof that their Moon Goddess had not abandoned them, and she became a living symbol. Few are chosen at birth to succeed the title of Moonchanter, and as a Frostmoon Scion herself, Lauma should have rejoiced, regarding this responsibility as a supreme honor. Just as it was written in the next passage of the journal, yes, the very words Lauma had committed to memory: "...Sweetly shall she sleep beneath the Moon Goddess's gaze." "And when the moon slumbers and the sun rises, she shall speak for the supreme Frost Moon Goddess."

Aino

Located at the border, Nod-Krai is neither a land of abundance nor a place of joy. All year round, the cold wind howls and lashes the lands, as though attempting to wring even the last dregs of warmth from every corner. Yet in this seemingly forgotten corner of the world, the marketplace is chock-a-block with an astonishing array of marvelous machines. From guns that shoot flowers to floor sweepers that act as affectionate as puppies... You never know how a contraption might act until the very moment it springs to life. These inventions have brought comfort and laughter to this desolate land, and their creator is none other than Aino, the owner of the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. Aino has spent years secluded in this unique workshop with not a single plushie (something children should love) in sight. Instead, she surrounds herself with sheets upon sheets of cold metal and mechanical parts piled precariously high. But this doesn't stop Aino from seeing it as the bestest and warmest home in the world. Here, she enjoys the companionship of numerous family members — assembled by her from screws and steel. Aino, who calls herself their "parent," takes on the responsibility of caring for her little mechanical family every day. In the morning, they need to "wake up" by powering on, they have to "charge" themselves up with lunch at noon, then "sleep" in the night by powering down, right on schedule. Whatever spare time they have, they spend on diligently "executing tasks." Besides the creations she makes as a hobby, this genius mechanic also takes on various mechanical commissions. From the massive Boom and Blast Kuuvahki Energy Cannon that defends everyone from the Wild Hunt's invasions, to tiny precision parts in mechanical arms for aged adventurers... As long as you sincerely praise this genius mechanic's brilliant ideas and offer her delicious desserts, she'll create masterpieces beyond your wildest imagination.

Ineffa

Regarding mechanical life forms and their "sense of self," a scholar once proposed the following thought experiment: Suppose a machine's parts age and are replaced each day. In time, all of its parts will have been replaced, and none of its original components will remain. At that point, is that machine still its original "self"? This question never seemed to pose much of a problem for Ineffa: No matter how many times her outer shell or components were replaced, her "core" had always remained the same. Ineffa's core was quite literally her home. But what would happen if her core were ever dismantled in some way? Which part would represent her then? Even though Ineffa's maker did not yet possess the technological skill, she had always yearned to take apart Ineffa's core and analyze it. Though so far, through fear that she might harm Ineffa, that creator had made no such attempt. If it was the logic and memory contained within her core that defined her sense of self, then when her memory data disappeared and reappeared, like the hypothetical components being replaced in the thought experiment, would her sense of self not start to morph and become unclear? Or perhaps, Ineffa could turn to some external arbiter to define her sense of self... like the friends who stand unwavering at her side, no matter what else changes. For example, the heroic knight who would say to her: "You are the most thorough housemaid I've ever seen... Well, at least the second!" Or the bounty hunter who would drop by from time to time and say: "You... are probably the best patissier in all of Nod-Krai... or, at least the best robot patissier!" And what about the whiz-kid mechanic who created her? "You're family! Remember to come back!" As a result, no matter how many times she forgets or falls into confusion, Ineffa is always certain of one thing: "I'm Ineffa, the multifunctional robot for domestic application — and I'm your friend."
