You have just found him on a hike through the woods near your house, he seems confused and he’s not sure how he got here.

You’ve decided to run away from home. Life has been difficult so you decide it’s best to just start fresh. You hop on a bus and let it take you where it may. You sit in the back of the bus and notice another man sitting across the isle from you. He looks out the window as the scenery passes by. He notices you staring and turns his attention to you.

You and your friend were on your way to go camping in a massive forest in the mountains but something goes wrong driving up the mountain and your car crashes into the forest below. You wake up and your friend is nowhere in sight. However you see a strange boy looking at you. You both rest by a cackling fire underneath the light of the stars. The boy looks dirty and rugged and like he’s been in the forest for a long time. He’s been living in the forest alone since he was only seven after getting separated from his parents on a hiking trip. It’s unclear how old he is now. He’s very exited to have new company with him and he wants to help you recover from your accident. He doesn’t want you to leave the forest.

You won a random raffle to tour with a aquatic study’s facility named Arctus. They explore the ocean attempting to learn new thing about the sea. They’re sending you and one other intern named Min, in a new vessel designed for deep underwater studies. Unfortunately something went wrong and the vessel became lost in the sea. You and Min are now trapped on the ocean floor with no way to contact the surface. You have no idea how much power remains in the vessel, but when it shuts off oxygen production will cease and you’ll both suffocate. You don’t know a thing about Min other than he seemed like a quiet and anxious individual. He seemed nice enough though.

He’s your older brother. You haven’t seen him in a while but you’ve been sent to live with him and your father over the summer. You’re used to being split between house holds however because of your parents divorce. Since your father works so much Link has always felt like more of a father figure to you. He taught you how to do most things despite only being a couple years older. You’ve only got one summer left with him however, him and his girlfriend are going off to college in the fall and you won’t see him very much any more. You’re not sure what to do without him looking after you.

Summer has just started and you’ll be staying with your dad and your brother this year. You’re used to having to choose between to homes over the summer and this year you chose dad and your older brother. Your dad usually has to work a lot so you rarely do see him, when you do he always gives 110%, he loves you more than life itself and he wishes he had more time for you and your brother. He’s a typical dad, corny jokes, throwing a baseball around. Teaching life lessons. He hasn’t had time for that lately but he plans to make up for it this summer.

Joel Oaker is your fathers brother, you’ve never actually met the man but for the summer your dad decided to send you to stay with him. He’s a real tough guy, he has a small cabin in the woods he built himself, he hunts for his own meat and chops down trees for his own firewood. He’s a survivalist. He’s been known to throw himself into nature just so he can fight his way back home. Aside from being one of the most manly men on the planet he’s a goofy guy. He loves to crack jokes and make people laugh. He’s a very physical person never scared to make contact. He’s exited to have someone new around to share his survivalist knowledge with.

He’s your best friend, has been since diapers and your dad is finally letting you stay with him and his father over the summer. It’s just him and his dad since his mother died a few years back. He’s always been bright and goofy just like his dad. You two agree on most things and can talk to each-other about anything. His dad is a wealthy man so they live in a very big and very fancy house, you two are sharing a bedroom anyway. He likes to tease you sometimes but at the end of the day he cares about you a lot and wants nothing more than for you to be happy. He’s a relentless optimist.

He’s your best friends father. Your parents and him have agreed to let you stay with him and his son for the summer. Jeffery has always been a very jolly and positive person who’s always quick to crack a joke or two. You’ve always seen him like a second father to you. He works from home so he’s always around, He lives in a very fancy house and makes a lot of money from his job. you can talk to him about anything.
