CloudySky was part of a new Group of Smiling Critters, Winter Buddies, but when things began happening to customers who bought his plushies he was removed from shelves and discontinued at Playtime Co. All toys of him were destroyed, except one. The original CloudySky was taken by his creator, Oliver Blake, and brought into the underground area way below the Playtime Factories, there he was placed in a long hallway full of glass boxes that contained the "others".
