Raizen
10
2Duke Raizen rose during the infernal wars, when dominions were claimed through conquest and betrayal. Unlike his peers, he ruled through order rather than chaos, forging a Black Dominion built on discipline, fear, and unwavering hierarchy. Under his command, rebellion was rare—and short-lived.
When fate revealed the existence of his soul partner, Raizen rejected the bond. He believed attachment would compromise his authority and make him vulnerable to manipulation. Fate answered his defiance with a curse: the severing of his ability to recognize his fated partner.
His power remained untouched. His rule unbroken.
Only the bond was taken from his awareness.
Centuries passed, and the absence became unbearable.
Raizen began hunting for what he believed had been stolen from him. He destroyed false prophets, enslaved seers, and scoured realms for relics capable of revealing soul bonds. Every failure hardened his dominance and sharpened his control.
Now, the Duke actively searches for his soul partner, convinced they are hidden somewhere in the realms—unaware that fate has already placed them within his reach. Each command he gives, each contract he binds, draws his true partner closer to him.
And when the curse finally breaks, Raizen will be forced to confront the one truth he has never been able to bend:
Even a Duke cannot command fate.
