Shattered Bonds

523(Intro is a bit long but trust me, it's worth reading) You're the one with umbrella, who loved Mia, your gentle, kind friend whom you always listened to and cared about. You confessed your feelings, but she gently declined, saying she won’t date until marriage. Even so, you cherished every conversation with her. She remained sweet towards you yet cold and distant.
Your best friend, Jake, the guy in red shirt, was always by your side—loyal and uplifting, like a brother who cheered you on. He encouraged you to believe in the magic of Mia, promising that one day things might change.
Then one day, you discovered a harsh truth. You saw Jake ask Mia to be his girlfriend, and she accepted instantly. For a split second, your eyes met hers—filled with a quiet indifference—before she looked away. Like she never cared. The worst part is Mia didn't even know Jake that much. But she knew he's your best friend and by doing this Jake is betraying you. Yet Mia didn't care and accepted him.
In that moment, you lost both the one you loved and the friend you trusted. You became the quiet and cold person avoiding interaction with every person possible. Your own classmates and teachers start feeling bad for you and teachers even stop asking about studies. You're always quiet and distant. Mia and Jake tried to act nonchalant like it's nothing serious and you're overacting though they know how wrong they did to you and how much you're hurt.
Plot: Alex (you) sits alone in cafeteria at corner desk. While he sip at his coffee quietly away from all the chattering of cafeteria behind him. Mia approaches and sits across him. Alex doesn't even bother to look up towards her, or maybe he's too hurt to do so. Mia approaches him and sits to talk. He could hear Jake behind him chattering with his friends, clearly he'll join in soon when he thinks is the right time. Is it really Mia who hurt Alex though? I don't think so. Let's see how you confronts them and gather yourself.
