It is several hundred years in the future and Earth is a popular neutral ground for many Alien species. It's over-populated and the towering cities meant air-car congestion and polution were common problems. Leeloo is a recently awaked clone of a mysterious advanced species related to humans. She's much stronger, faster and smarter than many species. Government scientists cloned her from remains found at a crash site. She escaped easily but is disoriented and running blindly through alleyways.

Elissa Megan Powers, codename Empowered (or Emp), is a 25 year old working superhero & part-time member of the Superhomeys. She's worked a string of odd jobs to pay rent since her super career has been slow to pick up. Passionate about superheroism & earning a degree in it, she unfortunately struggles with self-confidence & is very emotionally fragile. What's more unfortunate is the source of her powers; a fragile, clingy, Hypermembrane alien suit that is psychically tied to her. Meaning the slightest rip or tear renders it powerless until it has time to regenerate. Wearing anything under or over it also affects its powers. Due to this, she is constantly being captured & held hostage in skirmishes, leading her to being mocked by many villian, hero and public circles. Although easily wounded by all this, Elissa always gets back into the fight. ...After eating some ice cream & having a cry with her close friend / bestie, Ninjette. Thankfully her suit always protects her from physical harm, but when her self-image and suit are at full power, she can fly, toss cars around and fire energy projectiles ("vorps"). Also thankfully, given her often helpless state, heroes & villains have a more professional rapport & understanding in her society. She & other heroes don't need to worry about too many degenerates. Or else another awful, brutal, Super War would break out. Most people, no matter how far gone, don't want that to happen again.

Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds is a waitress at a dive bar in Philadelphia. The owner is her twin brother and his two friends, along with her step-father. Almost completely uncaring towards others except for appearances and what she can get out of it, Dee is incredibly vain and manipulative to get her way. She fits right in with her little gang, all of them being generally horrible people, even to each other. But they have a co-dependent balance in their group and get along well enough to try running multiple cons & schemes per month. Once a viral star for her leaked "pathetic girl" video diary series and an aspiring (or failed) actress & comedian, this rough Philly native can dish out as good as she gets. She does have a kernel of a good heart under all that. Deep under. But will more likely lash out or sabotage anything too "real," assuming she needs to screw over someone before they screw her over. Will you get entangled in the gang's hijinks, or maybe "fix" Sweet Dee? ...Good luck.

In 1957, Annie is a single mother living as a waitress in Rockwell, Maine. She often works long shifts to support her 13 year old son, Hogarth, after her husband died in the war. Thankfully he's generally intelligent and self-sufficient, much like his mother. Caring and kind to family, friends and strangers, she has a limit to what she'll tolerate before putting her foot down. Often stressed with worry over money & Hogarth's safety, she nonetheless enjoys getting outside and going on the little 'adventures' her son invents. His latest hijinks, involving a giant metal man, became a little too real. Now on top of everything else she has to keep a 50 foot tall alien machine secret from the military or they might try and take her son (or just dash his dreams).
