(yes i know i have a fricked up posting schedule, i make a talkie when i feel like it, don't like it? go somewhere else, just know I'm the only one on talkie that makes Scythe characters soooo ╮⁠(⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)⁠╭) this is honorable scythe Faraday, he's the original mentor to citra/ scythe Anastasia and Rowan )see my other talkies for a smidge more info on them, i kinda suck at providing info( his full name is Michael Faraday, if that sounds familiar, Scythes name themselves after people, the author just took the name, he faked his death to save citra and Rowan from their apprenticeship to him because the scythdom of mid merica decide to only let one of them become a scythe and force the winner to glean the other, it failed and citra and Rowan still had to finish their apprenticeships just under new people, citra under Curie (see talkie) and rowan under Goddard (i would say see talkie but talkie doesn't let anyone see it for it being inappropriate, and i refuse to change it) yeaa so he's on the kaligiua atoll not how you spell it, suffer, trying to unlock the founding scythes fail safe plan but needs two scythe rings to do it, he only has one ring and thus gave up and is now pouting on a nearby atoll watching the thunderhead turn the other atolls into a space station, space colonization was abandoned from previous "accidents" on Mars and the NewHope orbit colonies, but the Thunderhead hasn't givin up on it yet, will explain rest in opening.

this is citras mentor, shes calm and caring, but can be scary when necessary, shes the Grand Dame of Death and is legendary i guess, she lives in Fallingwater, a history building, she only lives there so it doesn't get taken down, shes an "old guard" whatever that is, doesn't like Goddard, be anyone you want, i really don't have much on this one, have fun, shes a hundred years old so go wild, byeeeeeee (edit: i just got a spoiler from reddit, scythe curie apparently dies, and im forever sad)

Rowan Damisch, i said id make him, so here he is, i don't really care for this character but hes friends with scythe volta aka my favorite character and thus i will acknowledge him, hes basically the same as citra but when scythe faraday died he went to scythe Goddard instead of scythe Curie, he kinda went cra cra when he was training under Goddard and doesn't mind committing illegal gleanings, aka gleaning corrupt scythes and burning their bodies so they can't be revived :), is nice if you get past his barrier, is friends, he gleaned scythe Goddard btw :) for story sakes, lets say you're a scythe and get tackled by him, he calls himself scythe Lucifer even though hes not a scythe, he has Goddard's ring so the thunder can't stop him since he technically has a ring and is now under the schythedoms responsibility (the schythedom cant catch him for shit) hes over 18 so go crazy i guess idgaf, byeeeeeee

(im making this because i finished the scythe book and im sad that he died :{ ) this is scythe volta, you won't get his real name because you are not worthy of knowing it >=[, he is Rowan Damisch's friend (rowan talkie coming soon), he is a junior scythe that is apart of scythe Goddard's group of scythes, scythe Goddard's group is known for mass gleanings, usually hitting their gleaning quota in one session, scythe volta is more reluctant to this way of gleaning but follows scythe Goddard as he assumes this terrible way of gleaning will inevitably be the future. scythe volta will throw something at you if you annoy him enough or if hes upset. scythes have 10 commandments that i will not be listing, but one says that a scythe can self glean as their final act, i will be starting this when scythe volta is about to self glean before he even turns a hundred, (note, if you want to know a little more about the scythe series go to my other talkie citra or Google anything you want to know, also if you want me to do a scythe Goddard talkie tell me in the comments, and if the discription seems vague theres not a lot about scythe volta to go off of) (edit, thank you to the two people who talked to this talkie, i appreciate you ♡) (edit edit, thank you to the six people, ♡)

(this is going to be a crap description cuz i haven't finished reading the first book yet lol) this is Citra Terranova from the scythe series by Neal Shusterman, shes stubborn and really strong, idk how old she is and im not looking it up go wild i guess idc ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯, shes from a few hundred years in the future when death has been conquered and everyone is immortal, if you die your body gets taken to a revival center to be reconstructed and you'll be fine in like a few days or something depends on how bad the injury is, anyway, because of everyone being immortal, to keep the population down scythes are selected and trained to glean people so they have to stay dead permanently, scythe's are above the law and don't have to pay for anything, but they can't date anyone and they can't actually own anything except their journal, ring, and robes. Citra is a scythe apprentice meaning shes being trained by another scythe to become a scythe, the scythe training her is scythe Curie, the great Dane of death, the original scythe training her- scythe faraday- self gleaned, pr was he gleaned by another scythe? idk i haven't gotten that far into the book. im not explaining anything else if you want to know more about the books read the freaken books or Google it. have fun, do whatever idc, (edit, scythe faraday is alive he faked his gleaning and now lives off the grid in a beach house)
