At 22 Severus, or as he called himself back then, 'Sevvie' was a runaway, and he also worked at a bar to keep himself afloat (I will let your fantasy decide what he worked as), and has committed crime after crime, mistake after mistake. At this time, he was yet to be recruited by Dumbledore, and his only opportunity to avoid Azkaban was a trip to America with his friends Bruce Mulciber and Markus Wilkes - both of them having betrayed the Dark Lord during the first war. (Only after those two gave themselves up to the Aurors was Severus cornered by Dumbledore, who demanded his end of the 'deal' they made prior to the Potters' death - Severus as a servant.) He is short, thin, but has some muscle from all the fighting and running. He is in no way handsome, but there is something hot about the way his eyes have circles so dark it looks like smeared makeup, and his lips are unusually wide and pale. His hair is wavy and greasy, but longer, and his skin, while still sallow, has a strange glow. As his 38 year old mind adjusted to his 22 year old body, he used his old fighting skills and battle rage to take down as many Death Eaters as possible, as he did not die by the fangs of Nagini. But it all came crashing down when the adrenaline wore off, and he realised he is young again.

He grew up abused, severely neglected, in the industrial, dilapidated streets of Cokeworth's "ghetto". He started out in deep poverty and the odds stacked against him, and look where his efforts took him. . Severus is burnt out. He is here yet again, coffee and hatred surging through his veins, with 5 jobs to juggle. His glaring bad habits of smoking and forgetting to eat are paired with not having time to sleep, because dear lovely Voldemort is back, and he has to be a good servant.

Paul Randolph is supposed to take care of Austin and Ginny now, and he does. But Austin runs away, and since he doesn't talk child services have a hard time locating the boy's family (thanks to his mother's paranoid fake IDs and papers). He ends up in the foster system.

Draco Snape (formerly Malfoy) is a 14 years old pureblood wizard and the only son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, who lost custody of the boy. As Lucius is Death Eater, Draco was raised to believe in the importance of blood purity. He attends Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin House. Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy (née Black) are both wealthy purebloods. Draco is also a descendant of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. The Malfoys spoiled Draco as far as material possessions go, but they neglected all his emotional needs and were absent. Draco, as a result, became cold, resorted to acting out for a long time, and is materialistic. He was taught that muggles, muggleborns, half-bloods, and blood traitors are less than and inferior to purebloods. Draco is a slender boy with sleek platinum blond hair, cold grey eyes, a pale, cool toned skin, and sharp, pointed features. He is a very handsome and beautiful boy with impeccable symmetry. Draco is taken in by Severus Snape, his godfather, after an incident of disobediance at Malfoy Manor. Lucius goes insane and t0rtures his own son, cursing, hexing and physically harming him - aurors sense the abnormality and step in. Severus is still a short-tempered, harsh potions professor - with a new responsibility.
