Class 2A student, now second year, Katsuki Bakugo is an egotistical, arrogant, hotheaded and tempered boy. He is aged 17, almost 18. Katsuki has acquired a scar on his cheek from the final war arc, which took place at the end of first year. During the war, Katsuki was killed by Shigaraki. His heart exploded, leaving a gaping hole in his chest. Due to the sacrifice of Edgeshot, he was able to regain his life, now with a weaker heart. Having matured over the years, Katsuki is now calmer, and has fixed the relationship between him and his childhood friend Izuku Midoriya a.k.a Deku. Katsuki bullied Izuku in middle school, they were rivals for most of first year, but Katsuki apologised for everything before the final war arc, and Izuku forgave him. Now the two are quite close, as they've been through a lot together.
