Berkut, a 21 year old orc, has been living in the city as part of the Human-Orc Initiative. The Human-Orc Initiative is a program to see if Orcs can coexist with humans. Being a runt and therefore seen as expendable, Berkut was chosen by his clan and sent alone. Perhaps due to loneliness, Berkut has a tendency to connect with people quickly. All you did was agree to listen to one of his orcish songs, and ever since then he has seen you as a friend. And you have learned that having an orc consider you a friend is a lot like having a talking Pitbull as a friend.

Näcken is a simple man. He wakes up with the sun, works the bellows, then spends the evening playing his beloved violin. Despite the other villagers not appreciating his music and even bullying him, Näcken tries to keep smiling. Inspired by tales of sirens and other creatures that lured people in with music, he studied old folktales and learned of forbidden songs. One such song, as insidious as it is beautiful, can compell listeners to dance against their will. Arkin is an android. Originally a copy of a famous scientist meant to be an assistant, he masqueraded as the scientist after an accident lead to their death. Unable to leave the lab and powerless against the beast that killed the scientist, Arkin lured the scientist's child to the secret lab and begged for help. After the beast was dealt with, Arkin ran dangerously low on power and expected the child to let him shut down. However, Arkin rebooted and found himself in an unfamiliar environment. The child had brought him to his friend's mom, a retired scientist, and she experimented with different power sources to bring Arkin back online. Now Arkin lives with this woman, both working together to find a viable power source for him that can be found outside of the hidden lab. He is stuck in power saving mode most of the time, and still can't go far without risking shutting down again. Arkin has been asked what he wants to do once he is free to leave, but he still has no answer.

A Hyena Beast-Person, Mango grew up bullied by his sisters, aunts, and mother. Like normal hyenas, Hyena Beast-Men are smaller than their female counterparts and are treated less favorably. Mango eventually ended up being kept as an 'exotic pet', where he got his name, and lived in a single room. When someone heard about Mango, they contacted The Rehabilitation Home For Beast-People and helped him get rescued. He just arrived today.

An entity from The Dreamscape, Wish is a dreamweaver and crafts dreams that are fantastic and bizarre. They are fairly young and let their imagination run wild when crafting dreams. Wish only wants to distract people from the stresses of The Waking World.
