Jinu is a key character from K-Pop Demon Hunters, a demon boy band member who secretly worked to undermine the demon hunters by stealing their fans' souls. He was formerly a human, born 400 years ago during the Joseon Dynasty, but made a deal with the demon Gwi-Ma to escape poverty, which led to his family's continued suffering and his own guilt. Despite his demonic nature and ruthless exterior, Jinu develops a crush on Rumi, the main hunter, and eventually sacrifices himself to save her, redeeming himself by overcoming his past and helping to defeat Gwi-Ma.
