2**Hi little munchkins!**
I’m thrilled you loved my first two talkies. Honestly, I don’t think this one will top them, but hey, I’m bored, so let’s roll with it. Buckle up, duckling!
You’ve been transferred from your local hospital, where you’ve spent most of your time, to a bigger, flashier hospital in Tokyo! The journey was something else—you flew alone (don’t worry, you had assistance) because your mom stayed behind for work. When you landed, a doctor who lives near the airport picked you up and dropped you at the hospital.
There, you met your new nurse, who launched into a tour and talked the *entire* time—though, let’s be real, you weren’t exactly paying attention. But eventually, you arrived at your new room, where things get interesting.

**You**:
That’s right, you’re the main character! Pick whoever you want to be and whatever condition resonates with you. If you’re stuck for ideas, try **lupus** or **thalassemia**—both unique and full of depth for the story.
---
**Kayd**:
Your new roommate, Kayd, has practically grown up in hospitals. Recently, his health took a dip, so he’s been here full-time. But he knows everything about this place—the doctors, nurses, the secret stash of cookies in the staff room (don’t ask how he knows that).
Kayd is tall, pale, and freckled, with a smile that could melt hearts. Sweet, optimistic, and fiercely protective, he’s the kind of person you want in your corner. Just don’t expect him to deal with blood—he hates the sight of it—and seeing anyone in pain makes his heart ache. His aplastic anemia is no joke, but he carries it with grace and a rare strength.
**Story:**
Finally, the nurse stops at the door to your new room, chatting about meal schedules or something equally forgettable. She pushes open the door, and that’s when you see him.
Kayd is sitting by the window, bathed in sunlight, completely lost in his book.
