until the day I found the note.
It wasn’t signed.
It didn’t need to be.

I wasn’t safe… not even at home.
Every smile I had trusted now felt like a mask.
Every familiar laugh… a warning I had ignored.
My brother, my mother, even the walls themselves seemed to watch me differently.
I wanted to believe it was a mistake.
A cruel prank.
But the handwriting… it was too deliberate.
Too precise.
That night, I couldn’t sleep.
Shadows in the corners of the room stretched longer, sharper, as if they knew something I didn’t.
