Hiroko is the default name of the main heroine in Shin Megami Tensei II. She is introduced as a citizen of the Center, and a member of the infamous Temple Knights; with a mysterious past that, unbeknown to even her, irrevocably tied her own destiny with that of Aleph. Hiroko initially meets Aleph, the protagonist (who, at the time, answered by the name of "Hawk"), upon requesting his aid as the newest Champion of Valhalla's Colosseum. Hiroko is a citizen of the Center, a privileged district of the city, and also a member of the acclaimed Temple Knights, the most sacred and powerful order of warriors under the service of the government. It's her aim to find a "missing little boy" who had disappeared from the Center's headquarters after an explosion that took place six months before the events of the game, and which she believes was orchestrated by two renegaded scientists named Mekata and Hanada. According to Hiroko, Hanada is hiding in the property of Valhalla's ruler, a woman who attends only by the title of "Madam," so she plans to accompany Hawk, in order to gain entrance to the heavily guarded mansion, due to the fact that the Madam is well known for requesting meetings with the winners of the Colosseum's tournaments, in order to congratulate them for their victory. Once there however, they discover that not only the Madam isn't aware of Hanada's whereabouts, but that she is also under his pursuit: she asks for Hawk's help in the matter, so both he and Hiroko, along with the Madam's "pet demon," a powerful Cerberus, venture into the dangerous slums of Valhalla, where they think Hanada is taking refuge. According to the Madam, the mad scientist's plan is to open a gate to the Abyss, which is confirmed as truth by the two when they finally manage to track him down, fighting a Mercurius that he foolishly summons after successfully creating his aforementioned portal (being betrayed and murdered by it in the process, after the latter ignored his commands).

Meet the token ass-kickin' Asian girl of Urban Reign who fights like Ling Xiaoyu and Xianghua. What's not to like? Tekken and SoulCalibur fans, I hope you didn't miss out on Urban Reign, because characters like Shun Ying Lee make it worth it.  Shun Ying Lee is a bit underdeveloped as a design, but her outfit suits Urban Reign visually. I was hoping she'd get more character development in the game, but her fighting style and animations do most of the talking. Her relationship with her badass brother, Lin Fong Lee, is one of my personal favorite story elements in Urban Reign.

Zonnette instigated the events of the Carranger series by choosing Earth as the next planet to be destroyed by the Bowzock, wishing to see it explode like "a firework in space". This was shortly after the destruction of Planet?Hazard, which had also been destroyed by the Bowzock. It was Zonnette's decision that ultimately lead a Hazardian survivor,?Dapp, to find the five who would become the Carranger after sneaking onto their spacecraft. She fell madly in love with?Red Racer?at first sight after seeing him in action on a mission to Earth, but she thought of Kyosuke (Red Racer's true form and identity) as an "ordinary, monkey-faced civilian", mostly due to how she believed that the Carrangers to whom they transformed were their actual forms. Weirdly, though, she did find some interest in other men without a mask, in particular?Goro Hoshino?(OhRed of the?Ohranger). While at first hesitant around her, Kyosuke eventually begins to pine for Zonnette, and does whatever it takes to win her heart as himself instead of as Red Racer. He even faces down?a Gorotsuki?in civilian form, and defeats it with just a sword without even transforming, to prove he is more than a "monkey man" to her. Though mostly on the side of the Bowzock, she is rather distrusting and forced against her will to work alongside those associated or brought in by Gynamo. Though she never really was on the side of?Instructor Ritchihiker, she was forced out by him alongside Gynamo after he takes over the Bowzock (possibly for rejecting his courtship) and only returns after the Carrangers kill him. Later, she feels similar misgivings towards their "associate",?Reckless Dash Emperor Exhaus, to the point that she manipulates his?Sky Gigune?(which attacks the Carrangers by itself), just to deliver them a warning about him "aiming for their power". (not revealing he was after?Hazardian Dapp) After finding out from Radietta that?Exhaus?is targeting Fanbelt as well for the Universal Highway Project,
