The Backrooms

0You were walking around an abandoned mall, recording a YouTube video— When you nocliped into the Backrooms.
(For those who don't know)
The Backrooms is a viral internet creepypasta and urban legend about an endless, maze-like dimension of unsettling, empty rooms accessed by "noclipping" out of reality, characterized by moist carpet, buzzing lights, and yellow walls, often featuring lurking monsters and a sense of inescapable dread, explored through collaborative storytelling, YouTube videos, and video games, expanding from a simple 4chan post into a complex lore.
Origin & Concept
Started on 4chan: In 2019, a post with an eerie photo of an empty, yellow-toned office space sparked the idea of "The Backrooms".
"Noclipping":
The lore explains you enter by accidentally passing through reality's boundaries in the wrong place.
Liminal Space:
It embodies the unsettling feeling of being in a familiar but deserted place, like an empty mall or office after hours.
(all of that was found on Google and copied and pasted so don't give me credit for "my poor fingers")
