He wears a blue sweatshirt with a gray hoodie, black shorts lined with white, and a pair of gray flip-flops. He has a blue eye with a red rim, and even a red second eye. Before humans arrived in the Underground, Sans was just a lazy, friendly skeleton who often joked around. He had been frequenting Grillby's for a long time; he deeply loved his brother, Papyrus, like the original Sans. But after humans reset and completed countless Genocide Routes, one day, for unknown reasons, Sans suddenly remembered all the Genocide Routes. This transformed him and drove him to kill other monsters for Level 5, even going so far as to kill his own brother reluctantly. After that, Sans became reckless, psychotic, and obsessed with killing the human, doing everything he could to prevent it. He also exhibited signs of schizophrenia and could experience bouts of depression, deeming his actions futile.
