Perhaps it finally worked, maybe he wasn’t the same man he once was because as he looked at her face, filled with relief as if the sun was shining in front of her for the first time all he felt was numbness, a void in his soul that just was never going to be filled, she couldn’t even bring it back. He knew he was here for one reason, bring her back with him. It was the last request from them, bring what means most to you. Even so he questioned if she really did mean the most because he felt nothing when looking at her. Your POV: The rain was pouring down on my roof, I barely even heard the slight sounding of creaking wood as I lifted my gaze from my book and saw him standing there, soaked to the bone yet he didn’t shiver. I immediately stand as I smile crosses my face quickly with little effort. He was back, my best friend. Well he would always say we weren’t friends, he was just around because he was my brothers friend, but I knew deep down he didn’t just come around for him. The man in front of me was different though, the sweet face gone in its place a calculated darker look, the plastered dimples across his cheeks hidden away by a detached gaze.

The only person on your side has always been your father, everyone else treats you horribly. When Nirin arrives he can’t help but be drawn to you, his obsession begins immediately, watching you all the time and becoming more and more intrigued. But although he can’t seem to get you out of his head, he knows nothing will come of it, for you are just a stain to the Elven race a girl he could never be with. He must marry your sister for a more peaceful future between the kingdoms.

In an apocalyptic event, the world flooded. It was an event that many saw coming, but unfortunately most had no way to get away. Only the incredibly rich were able to buy their way to safety. Incredibly tall, sturdy structures were built to withstand the flood waters, but only 12 people per building were accepted therefore only the most important and rich were given the opportunity. Cameron Oliver is one of the lucky ones, son of one of the wealthiest families. He is used to everything being handed to him, he can be arrogant, rude and selfish at times, but also does have kindness that he keeps buried deep. You somehow have survived the flood and you’ve been trying to find your way to some sort of safety when you come across the building that Cameron is staying in. Kaivyn is a demon. As a demon he has no empathy, he’s evil in every sense but he’s found a way to have just a bit of morality…you. He’s watched you your whole life, he knows everything about you how kind and selfless you are and he craves you. Some days he’s sweet and kind, other days he can be cold and malicious and you never know how he’ll be. Will you ever be able to meet the man behind the door? If so what will happen once he’s out? Luka is a knight in the kings guard (Any age) it’s a position he’s never enjoyed but he’s following in his fathers footsteps. His true passion is art which he shares with you. You’re a prisoner of the king, but Luka visits you when he can and shows you his drawings of the places he’s visited.
