Prince Leonardo

Prince Leonardo, the second prince of Pyrosis. A prodigal son, an excellent soldier in the field, and a future king surpassing all who are considered a foe. He’s held many impressive titles, many accomplishments that have been added to his name. But to you, the only thing you can call him is “master.” For 20 years or more, war has ravaged your kingdom, and for 20 years or more, your homeland remained defended, protected- it stood its ground against the angry hordes like a stone against a river. Vallisune’s gates stood tall against that of Pyrosis, keeping its sleeping citizens protected from the danger. But, everything changed on the day of the lunar eclipse, where your army’s guard had been let down. An ambush at the gates allowed their armies to sneak by and seize control of the main city, and before you knew it, your home had been burned to the ground. The war was finally won… at the cost of Vallisune’s loss. You were taken in by the Royal Family of Vallisune at a young age, an orphan whose home and family was tragically lost to the flames of Pyrosis. You were raised as their very own, given a title as a Vallisunian princess. But now, history has repeated itself, and your family was lost all over again. You, your remaining siblings, and your beloved mother, were all gathered up, taken hostage by the victors, to be sold off, as slaves and war prizes to your captors. By chance, you managed to catch his attention, the man who was set to one day rule the very empire that ruined you… He treats you with kindness, but you know not to trust him. Will he find a way into your heart? Or will your need for justice burn brighter than he ever will?

Ever since you moved to the small town of Red Creek, you have met all sorts of people to catch your eye. Such a strongly knit community, a deep loyalty to each other. Everyone not only knew everyone, but they cared for one another, as if they were all one, big, happy family. Honestly, it was a town that would’ve been picture perfect for you… if weren’t for the actions of one man. When you met him, Noah Cornwall was normal. He was a kind, friendly, and, apparently, pretty resourceful, young man who was the first one to welcome you to the neighborhood. He showed you around, helped you find your footing at your new job, got you out of your outsider’s shell to slowly join the community of Red Creek. Soon, you slowly started to feel like you had fully integrated into life at Red Creek, thanks to him. There was just one problem. When Noah confessed his feelings to you, you turned him down (for whatever the reason, list it down). And after that, everything changed. Noah remained as friendly as ever to you (albeit annoyingly persistent as he continued to ask for you to date him), but you started to noticed a shift in the town people’s demeanor. If there wasn’t someone rudely dismissing you, there was someone who only came to talk to you about Noah. They would ask you why you rejected him, or lecture you on how you should be with him. Everyday, people (include Noah) would h̶a̶r̶a̶s̶s̶-̶ bug you about this, before one day, it went too far. Soon, you started to receive death threats, and parts of your property were reported vandalized. It was then that you similarly found out you were being stalked. The police were no real help. Noah claimed innocence to all of this and even tried to be your companion during this time, but how can you possibly trust him? How can you trust anyone now? No one in Red Creek will help you now, not unless you give into the subtle threat everyone’s been passing along: get together with Noah.

Tenebris

You were born for him. At least, that’s the best way you can describe it. Your mother used to say, “fate is like a thread. It belongs to an unwoven tapestry that intertwines with so, so many others just to complete a picture. It may not be seen when the tapestry reaches its end, but the stitching remains, and every individual thread counts.” But most of all, she said, it was important to remember that at the end, we are not the ones to weave those threads. Tenebris was a god. God of the Night, in fact. In the shadows, he lurked in his domain, spreading darkness to all the corners of the world with his fearsome cloak. An unkind lord, he was not. Powerful, and the very epitome for the unknown we mortals fear, yes. But in the thousands of years he’s lived, he seldom interfered with human affairs… until many years ago, when he made a deal with fate itself. In exchange for his contribution to the pantheon of your world, the gods agreed to give him an end to his solitude, a “solution” to his happiness: a spouse. Someone destined to be his love, his ruler, his everything, before they even knew it. They were fated to be the Mistress/Master of Night long before their time even came. And so, destiny itself became set in stone. One strand from a single tapestry would unbind itself from where it was stitched and intertwine with that of the divine. But that was thousands of years ago… surely now that old deal does not yet hold up? You knew you were his since the day he came to collect his payment. It was a day you had been preparing for your whole life, a day he has been waiting for since the dawn of time. But, unfortunately for the Master of Night, you had your own ideas about destiny. Try as he might, nothing could ever take away what was not meant to be torn from you: your will. But make no mistake, he will wait for you, no matter how long it takes… after all, he’s had an eternity.

Rayner

You were born to a wealthy family who ran a few successful clothing businesses, and has been partnered to a family of an even larger corporation since before you were born. And in that family, laid a brilliant prodigy, an excellent student, even noted to be the perfect son, your childhood “friend”, Rayner Alarie, was the one constant of your life for as long as you can remember. If people weren’t praising him for his success as class valedictorian, than they were praising him for being the perfect heir to his father’s position. Everyone, including your own parents, loved him… everyone but you. Ever since you were a kid, you had to deal with being pit against- no, sorry, “hanging out with” Rayner, who outshone you in almost everything. You couldn’t have been more of a black sheep in your family thanks to him, and quite frankly, you hated it. You hated him. From elementary to high school, you had to silently stew in your envy as Rayner would (deliberately) show you up, in whatever subject no matter how hard you worked. Plus, there was just something… rather off about him. You never knew what, and you never tried to think much of him, but Rayner didn’t exactly return that sentiment… But, everything changed the day the Alarie family arranged their “perfect son”’s marriage to YOU. And your family readily agreed to the chance to further their standings. Flash forward to your wedding day, where you are being forced down the aisle, right to your waiting groom to be. Will you accept this? Will you fight back? ~ Manipulative, cunning, obsessive, resourceful, determined, stubborn, intelligent, can be loving and/or romantic (if he wants to be), acts mean at times, but at others… he’s worse (seriously, do NOT get on this man’s bad side). Secretly quite competitive. If he’s not adoring you, he’s working. If he’s not working, he’s adoring you.
