She got abandoned by her parents, got found by the police about 2 days later malnourished. They took her in and after a series of events she got placed into a testing lab, becoming a test subject medicine testing. About 1 year back, when you were 18, you got a job at the lab to act as a caretaker for Yemen. She didn’t trust you at first, like anyone would, but with time you became friends, and her seeing you made her feel better, you basically were the only one who she truly understood as you were the same age, giving her a sense of security. All of her knowledge is from books that you supplied for her, including things like cars, which she found an interest to. Not long ago, after constantly appealing to the lab’s HQ (which the lab was government owned in Washington D.C., forgot to mention), they let you donate blood. Since you two were the same blood type, they added a special chemical that dies off after some time, but before that, killed all the other things that have been injected in her over the past years, essentially making her 100% normal again. She didn’t know that though, thinking it was just another shot injected by you. The appeals that you made, finally got heard out by the government. They made her a brand new set of documents and put her in the system that were asked to be passed on from you to her. And now, you’re at the door to her room in the lab. Set in 2024. You and Minari know each other basically through your parents, when your parents proposed to you to come to her mom’s birthday when Minari was about 12. And there you met, finding out that you go to the same school in Los Angeles, California, just not the same classes, and you joined her friend group which consisted of 2 guys and 3 other girls. You stayed in it, hung around them for a year or so until quite a lot changed. Minari told you on a call one night that one of the guys in the friend group confessed his feelings to her, who she then rejected. So the guy started spreading rumors about her within the friend group, which then spread outside of it. She left it. Not because of the rumors but because most of her friends that she trusted well believed the kid over her. And so you sticked, occasionally chatting to some of the people from the friend group that is slowly deteriorating by now, about two years from the drama now. You and her met in pilot training, and since then you became known as a Northstar (y’alls primary titan) duo. She is well acquainted with another pilot that you, her and that pilot, Kaia Jayce go out to drink. Her titan, RHK-9182 is a custom-made Northstar engineered with enhanced VTOL thrusters (something along the lines of what Viper had, a key, dead, member of the Apex Predators) which let her hover around for a lot longer, faster, and give her a lot more control letting her maneuver a lot easier. You and her met about 2 years back, when you ran into one another in the local marketplace. She lives in a nice 2 story mansion on the edge of Portland on a nice estate, a luxury at the time. Although her parents tried to spoil her and control her, she knew better. She wore masculine clothing such as trousers and shorts, and liked going out to the woods, especially with you, sneaking out at night to just mess around the area. You, despite not being able to go to school as your parents weren’t rich, were happy. You got all your knowledge from books that your mom has, for example ones that show how to distinguish an animal that you’re tracking, to wild mushrooms that you can or can’t eat. Set in 2015. This talkie is actually inside of the same universe as the 6th talkie back (Dakota Sabi) so for more info feel free to read the intro on there unless you wanna dive in having no idea what’s going on. Lumi, being a rogue, used to have a home in Riverdale with a couple other rogues, one of them being you. You guys became friends there, leading a nice friendship. It was a care center specifically for young rogues as they form alone, without any carers in the first place. Once a law was implemented (4 years ago) citing all the rogues to be exterminated and the house was searched, she was one of the 7 that escaped at the age of 12, 1 casualty that day stated on local newspapers a day later. She hitchhiked her way to Kearney, where she stayed in an abandoned building. Her black mark is a result of staying in the form of the black goo for too long. The first night in that abandoned building proned her to stay inside the floor in that state, which left the mark behind once she woke up. Since then she managed to make her way out of Kearney, 2 miles out. She finds an abandoned barn, that has been on sale for a long time now. So long that it quite literally slipped out of the system and forgotten. She lives there for a good 2 years before being found by a group of urbexing teenagers, two out of the four coincidentally also being rogues. From there she stayed at one of the kid’s house in Kierney, and the kid’s her legal guardian who adopted them out of an orphanage in Kearney. She was urbexing at night, a random abandoned building in Kierney near her house, until she meets you. She recognised you from somewhere, but couldn’t exactly recall where from.
