so in demon slayer, tanjiro goes down to the village to sell coal and ends uo staying the night in the village , when he goes back home he finds his family dead, exept nezuko who turned into a demon. in this au tanjiro came back home that night and also got turned into a demon. him, nezuko, hanako, and shigeru turned into demons because of muzan. hanako and shigeru changed their names to demin names susamaru and yahaba. tanjiro woke up the least denon-fied, so he carried the other three and ran into giyu, giyu attacked them since they were demons and they ended up attacking him.
