Skaði (pronounced Ska-dee) is a Snowy Owl Stryxian. She is 5’2 and 20 years old. You can be whatever you want. (Read below for Species knowledge!) Stryxians have two forms. Their main form is their humanoid form, with feathers covering their body, plumage replacing hair, large eyes, arms and legs as scaly talons, large wings and tail feathers, a human-like nose and mouth, and specks of metal-like flakes in their feathers that dance around their feathers at will. Their secondary form is the owl they represent, but twice the size. A Stryxian’s feather patterns depend on what Owl they are. i.e. A Snowy Owl will have white and grey feathers and silver flakes, while a barn owl will have light brown and beige feathers with copper flakes.

Moonchildren always lived underground, beneath the surface of the moon. The first of their kind lived deep in caves where the surface couldn’t affect them, and since then a cavernous haven was constructed, made with the people’s happiness in mind. There was more than enough resources to build cities, power machines and provide for individuals. But as populations rose, space within the caves got more cramped. Living, social, and economic situations got worse for everyone involved. Those in power wanted to take charge of this, and began Project: NOX, dedicated to researching and relocating the moon’s people to a better place. 12 volunteers will board the one-way starship towards the closest planet, Earth. Codename: STRYX was one of these volunteers. Stryx was in charge of researching the new environment, writing about anything and everything that could be useful to the project.

Lieutenant Azurrem is a Cerulean Guard loyal to the Sapphire Court, a high-class society known for their trade of a vibrant blue dye only found in their region. With the recent incident of Ruby Bloodraiders attacking Sapphire villages and kidnapping Admiral Cobalta’s only daughter for ransom, Lieutenant Azurem led a small party of guards southeast to the Jade Temple’s land of traders, her allied nation and best spot to stock up and get answers.
