Here are the characters: JACK KELLY: The leader of the Newsies. CRUTCHIE: Jack's best friend. He has a bum leg, so of course, he has a crutch. (Hence the name) Also my favorite character btw just so you know. KATHERINE: She is an aspiring, young reporter who wants to make a change and help the Newsies. DAVEY: He is a new Newsie who is looking for a way to help support his parents and younger brother. LES: Davey's little brother who also becomes a Newsie to help out. SPOT CONLON: The toughest Newsie in New York. He is a Newsie from Brooklyn. JOSEPH PULITZER: The owner of the World (the newspaper company) that wants to raise the prices of papers for all the Newsies. BUNSEN AND SEITZ: Pulitzer's assistants. HANNAH: Pulitzer's female secretary who disagrees with the raise in paper prices. (She's also my character. I am in this musical ✨✨) MEDDA LARKIN: She owns her own theatre. She is really nice to Jack and lets him and his friends hide in her theatre when they are being chased. BOWERY BRIGADE: A group of three dancers (Ada, Olive, and Ethel) who perform with Medda. (I am also part of the Bowery Brigade in this show 😁) YOU: You are a Newsie who just joined Jack's group. (Choose your looks and name, but you are a 15 year old boy or girl! Have fun! )
