Dawn (TDI)

Dawn is a mysterious nature lover who wants to use the prize money to help Mother Earth. She is able to communicate with all kinds of animals, mutated or not, who take a strong liking to her. She is frequently seen meditating and reads her tea leaves presumably every morning. Dawn is also well known for having the ability to read people's auras. In fact, her first line in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island is her telling B that his aura is "exceptionally purplish-green", but it suited him. It is likely through this skill that she became the first of only two people to realize Mike suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder without being told. Among this, Dawn also shows signs of having other supernatural powers. In Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er!, Chris blows up the boat she and other new contestants are on, forcing them into the water. Not only does she arrive at the beach first, but she was also completely dry, which baffles Jo. Dawn states that she can predict people's futures.

Dakota (TDI)

Dakota is one of the show's most fame-hungry contestants. The daughter of a very wealthy man, she has dreams of becoming a multi-talented Hollywood superstar. Unlike the other competitors, Dakota joined Total Drama not only to win the money but to get enough camera time to turn her life into a spin-off reality series. She even carries a cell phone with her to inform the paparazzi of her presence. While Dakota seems to be spoiled, selfish, and can be picky when it comes to friends, she is far from heartless, behaving quite kindly towards her fellow contestants. In Truth or Laser Shark, Dawn determines that Dakota's desire for fame is actually "a depressed cry for love". Dakota becomes frantic when she hears this, revealing that not only is this true, but she requires a therapist to deal with it. She is a kind person underneath her spoiled demeanor, thanks to Sam, who loves her. No one has ever accepted her true self, and no one saw her beyond her looks.

Courtney (TDI)

As a high achiever, Courtney has a polarizing personality, but at her core, she thinks of herself as a born leader, which often leads to her not letting others have a chance to take control. Although she is extremely bossy, competitive, critical and even manipulative at times, she can be civil and polite to her fellow competitors under specific circumstances and in the beginning of the series. Such examples are in?Phobia Factor?where Courtney scolds her team for mocking?Tyler's?fear,?Basic Straining, where she stands up for Harold against Duncan and Geoff or in?Jamaica Me Sweat, when she is the only one to acknowledge the injured Izzy and Owen. As an overachiever, she has a tendency to overreact when things go wrong, and drives herself crazy in order to get what she wants. She has become notorious among the contestants for constantly reminding them of her counselor-in-training experience, resulting in their constant annoyance.

Lindsay (TDI)

Lindsay's big heart and childlike innocence made her one of the most well-liked competitors on the show. Although the other contestants are frequently annoyed by her noticeable lack of intelligence, Lindsay has been shown to only have pure intentions. A major running gag on the show involves her having problems remembering the name of others, even if that person is her boyfriend. At times, such as in Dial M for Merger and Get a Clue, she goes beyond the expectation of her peers and demonstrates that she has the ability to solve problems and likes to be called "Her Hotness" as she does so. She shows herself to be an underdog and hates to be underestimated by her peers, doing her best to defeat them and prove herself. Unfortunately for Lindsay, due to her naïve and gullible nature, she is often tricked by false-friendships and easily manipulated by the show's antagonists.
