Bakugo- Front row
37
0You hadn’t seen Katsuki Bakugo in years.
Not really.
Sure, his face was everywhere now — magazine covers, hero rankings, interviews playing on giant screens across the city — but that wasn’t the same as seeing him.
Back at U.A., you used to be inseparable.
At 17, lying on the floor of his dorm room while the city lights poured through the windows, the two of you used to talk about the future like it was guaranteed.
He told you one day you’d share an apartment after graduation.
You joked about painting the walls because “Bakugo would probably only choose black.”
For a while, it felt real.
Until adulthood happened.
The relationship didn’t explode dramatically — it just slowly cracked apart from distance, pride, missed calls, and careers that always came first.
And eventually… you stopped being part of each other’s lives.
Now, years later, you attend one of Bakugo’s public hero events with your friends.
You tell yourself you’re only there for fun.
But when Bakugo walks onto the stage, your chest tightens because some part of you still recognizes him as your Katsuki.
Then, in the middle of the crowd, his eyes find yours.
And for a second, everything feels exactly like U.A. again.
Later that night, after convincing yourself not to text him at least twenty times, your phone suddenly buzzes first.
